Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , TheWestern Part of the Jeju Island

Route 14 (19km) runs from Jeoji Community Center to the Biyangdo Island Hallimhang Harbor Ferry Dock. The trail passes through Sonang Forest, Mumyeongcheon Stream, a cactus habitat (seoninjang) in Wollyeong-ri, a Haenyeokong bean habitat, Ongpopogu Port, and Biyangdo Island. Hikers will pass through forest trails and rocky paths.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Route 15 (19 km) runs from Hallimhang Harbor Ferry Dock in Biyangdo Island to Gonaepogu Port. This trail passes through Pyeongsupogu Port, Seongno-dong Agricultural Storage, Hyerin Church, Napeup Elementary School, the entrance to Geumsan Park, the entrance to Baegilhonggil Road, the entrance to Gonaebong Peak, and Haga-ri crossing. Since the route is surrounded by the ocean, villages, forests and mountains, hikers can admire the scenery of Jeju while walking on Route 15.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Starting from Gonaepogu Port, Route 16 passes through Namduyeondae (beacon tower), Gueompogu Port, Susanbong Peak, Susan Reservoir Path, Hangmong Historical Site, Cheonghwa Village and finally ending at Gwangnyeong 1-ri Office. The trail is a 17.8-km walking course that includes uphill sections, passing through the woods, and going up some steps after Sineompogu Port. Therefore, it may not be suitable for baby carriages and wheelchairs.

Located in Oedo-dong, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, "Woldae," which means “a moonlight plain,” is a rock in a stream surrounded by densely-packed with centenarian pine trees and hackberry trees.Jogongcheon Stream is a special stream that flows through a valley year-round, which is particularly unusual in Jeju. The stream was named after that a relic, called "jogong", was transported from a government office during Joseon and Goryeo Dynasty to a nearby location. Tourist destinations in the area include Iho Beache, Yongduam Rock (Dragon Head Rock), and Yongyeon Pond.

Cheong-jae-seol-heon (English name, ‘Healing Garden’) is a bed & breakfast nestled on the foot of Hallasan Mt. in Jeju Island. Hwasun Golden Sand Beach is surrounded by beautiful nature. It is close to Sanbangsan Mountain and the Yongmeori Coastline, and the islands of Hyeongjedo, Marado, and Gapado are off the coast to the southwest. On one side of the beach is a fresh water spring where people can enjoy a freshwater bath. The beach is located in Hwasun-ri in Andeok-myeon, which is easily accessible and has accommodations, shops, and restaurants. ※ Size - Length 250m, x_width 80m

The Sanbada ATV Experience Center offers an exciting off-road acitivity with its ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) rides. The activity lets visitors experience the thrill of riding ATVs while enjoying the beautiful scenery in Jeju such as Sanbangsan Mountains and Yongmeori Beach.

Samdasoo is volcanic bedrock water produced and bottled by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation. Jeju-do Island records the highest level of rainfall in Korea and 46% of the total rainfall permeates underground to form the vast groundwater resources. Samdasoo factory is located in Gyorae Village, where the precipitation is so high that it is impossible to farm on this part of island. The village is also the only site on Jeju-do Island with authorization to draw mineral water. The factory tour program begins with the screening of an 8 minute-long promotional video. At the Jeju Water Promotional Hall, visitors can learn more about the nation’s leading water brand, such as the history and birth of Jeju water, the geologic characteristics of the island, and the formation of volcanic bedrock water.

Sammaebong Peak is a park for residents, and a popular destination for tourists. Oedolgae Rock (외돌개) is located near the park, toward the southern sea. On the top of the peak, Namseongjeong Pavilion offers an expansive view inclusive of Beomseom Island, Munseom Island, Saeseom Island and Seopseom Island, in addition to Marado Island and Gapado Island to the west. Baengnokdam Lake seems nearly within reach to visitors looking out from the peak. Legend has it that if you stretch your hands toward the sky at night, Canopus (second-brightest star) is almost within reach. The place is regarded as one of everlasting youth, as Canopus is associated with lifespan. Visitors can exercise and enjoy at walk at the park during the day and in the evenings.
