Seoul(Jung-gu) , Namdaemun・Seoul-Station

The Millennium Seoul Hilton was founded on December 14, 1977 by the hotel commission processing agreement between Daewoo International's affiliate company, Dongwoo Development Co., Ltd. and Hilton International. The enchanting hotel, whose construction work began in March of 1979, made its grand opening on December 7, 1983. The hotel faces Namsan Mountain's breathtaking views throughout all four seasons. In April of 1995, more than 10 years after the hotel's opening, Dongwoo Development changed its name to Daewoo Development. On December 1, 1999, the ownership of Millennium Seoul Hilton was transferred to CDL Hotels Korea Ltd., the Korean subsidiary of the Singapore-based investment company, City Development Limited (CDL).In 1995, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc. was successfully launched in London as a testimonial to Singapore's Hong Leong Group. In the following years, they opened 91 hotels in 16 countries all over the world. The Supia Ttukseom year-round family theme park holds the ‘Snow Flower Village’ program every winter. The three major themed activities include: Fun Play Park, Ice Hill, and the Fun Snow Hill. MESA was the first shopping mall to be built in Namdaemun Market. MESA is a family shopping mall selling goods and providing facilities targeting mostly middle-aged women. There are also free stroller rentals in the lobby, and each floor offers uniquely designed restrooms. A restaurant on the 16th floor offers a magnificent view of Namsan, especially at night.

The 63 City in Yeouido stands 264 meters above sea level and is considered one of Seoul’s most well known landmarks. The 60th floor ‘Sky Deck’ of the 63 City Building has been newly remodeled into the ‘Sky Art Museum’, offering a place for art exhibitions, magic shows, and various cultural experiences. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Hangang River through the observatory’s large windows.To get to the 63 Building, take Subway Line 1 to Daebang Station Exity #6 or take Subway Line 5 to either Yeouido Station Exit #5 or Yeouinaru Station Exit #4. The Sky Art Museum is located on the 60th floor and tickets are available at the museum ticket booth.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Seoul City Hall・Gwanghwamun

The Daelim Museum, founded by the Daelim Group, was first established in Daejeon in 1996 and later moved to Jongno, Seoul in 2002. The art gallery studies, analyzes, and presents modern art through the lens of photography and holds exhibitions centered around photo media.The museum is located in the residential area of Tongui-dong, near the time-honored Gyeongbokgung Palace. The museum, which was designed by French architect, Vincent Cornu, and built by the Daelim Corporation, opened its door to the public in late May, 2002.On the first floor, there is a garden, parking lot, reception desk, storage area, and conference room. On the second and third floor are offices and a 180-pyeong (approx. 595m²) exhibition hall consisting of small and large rooms, a long gallery, and a special high-ceilinged exhibition space. On the fourth floor, there is a seminar room that can seat up to 120 guests and a balcony with a beautiful view. From the balcony of the seminar room, you may enjoy a wide open view of Inwangsan Mt. and Bukhansan Mt. The stained glass panels (designed to reflect the beauty of Korean traditional cloth) and the scenic lounges on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building add to the overall charm.Above all else, the museum was designed with consideration of the photos, which are very sensitive to humidity, light, and temperature.


Chungcheongnam-do(Asan-si)

Busan Tower is a symbol of Busan that stands proudly 69m above sea level at a x_height of 120m. The top of the tower is modeled after the baldaquin of Dabotap Pagoda in Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju.Beloved by Busan citizens and tourists alike, the tower offers a stunning night view and plenty to see, such as the Statue of the Great Admiral Yi Sun-shin, the Bell of the Citizens, a flower clock and a bust of the Busan-based independent activist, Baeksan An Hee-je.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

Founded and opened by Monk Jeongsan, Sanchon is a vegan-friendly restaurant that mainly serves temple foods. The dishes found here are a results of Kim Yun-sik, who was inspired by the simple, clean and healthy diet that a Buddhist practitioner taught him years ago. Now, being a top authority on vegetarian food in Korea, Kim Yun-sik helped perfect the standard and quality of temple food.  The dishes are made with all natural ingredients such as vegetables and mountain herbs, and are cooked without chemical additives. The actual dishes served vary by season, and in order to meet the tastes of the general public, the restaurant includes "five spices" (garlic, shallots, mountain leeks, etc.), which monks are typically not allowed to eat. Those who would like their food without these ingredients are asked to make their request at least one day prior to visiting.

The ddarogukbap (a kind of soup made with meat, coagulated ox blood, and bean sprouts) tastes great and is the recommended remedy for curing a hangover. An order of yukhoe bibimbap (white rice topped with garnished raw beef) includes a bowl of seonjitguk (soup made with coagulated ox blood). The shabu shabu is quite satisfactory for the price, so it is popular. The restaurant is packed in the morning, with people sobering up, and in the evening, with people who come for the grilled meat.
