The main branch of Meal Top is located on the 5th floor of Hyundai Department Store in Apgujeong. Known for its patbingsu (shaved ice with sweetened red beans), the café's specialty is Milk Sweet Red Bean Bingsu which is unlike bingsu sold elsewhere. The taste is similar to the traditional red bean bingsu (patbingsu) in olden times, featuring soft glutinous rice cakes with well-boiled red beans atop shaved-ice.


Jeollabuk-do(Muju-gun)

Deogyusan Resort (former Muju Resort) is one of Korea’s most famous mountain peak ski resorts. Covering an area of over seven million square meters, the resort is located in the Gucheon-dong Valley, at the base of the famous Deogyusan Mountains. Nature lovers will particularly enjoy visiting the resort, since it is located in one of Korea’s beautiful national parks, and was specially designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings.The six ski slopes are categorized according to level of difficulty. The Silk Road Slope is Korea’s longest course. It begins at the Peak of Deogyusan Seolcheon Mountain and follows the snow-covered landscape all the way to the base. The Raiders Course has the steepest slopes in the entire nation.As well as the truly great skiing on offer, the Deogyusan Resort also provides a wide selection of food and entertainment.


Gangwon-do(Sokcho-si)

Sokcho Expo Tower in the area of Cheongchoho Lake, Joyang-dong, is an observatory tower set in a park surrounded by mountains and lakes. The tower is 73.4m in x_height and can accommodate up to 100 visitors at once. From the observation platform, visitors can enjoy a complete view of the Sokcho area, including Ulsanbawi Rock and Daecheongbong Peak in Seoraksan Mountain, the East Sea and downtown Sokcho. The view around sunset is especially picturesque and the migratory bird habitat of Cheongchoho Lake is also located near the tower.

Located on the first floor of the National Palace Museum of Korea, Gogung Tteurak consists of a museum shop and a café. It is open from 9am to 10pm everyday except Mondays. The museum shop has on sale a variety of items with a traditional Korean flavor. You will find postcards, small pocket books, umbrellas, cushions, and T-shirts. Right next door, there is a café selling coffee, ginger tea, gukwacha (tea of a chrysanthemum), mogwacha (tea of a quince), as well as wild vegetable salad, royal tteokbokki, and royal noodles. Foreign visitors can choose the royal tteokbokki and other simple meals that are not too spicy. Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

Jongno is home to a number of famous haejangguk restaurants, and Cheongjinok (청진옥) is considered the forerunner among them. Opened in 1937, the restaurant has been run by three generations of the same family. Beef bones are simmered for more than 24 hours to make a rich broth, and soybean paste is added to neutralize the meaty odor. Ingredients added to the broth include various vegetables, clotted beef blood, beef intestines, and rice. Always crowded, Cheongjinok is open 24 hours a day.
