Incheon(Jung-gu) , Incheon Center

Yeonan Pier is the starting point for all coastal passenger ships bound for the numerous islands in the western sea. The nearby Incheon Fish Market is always bustling with people who come to buy fresh fish and pickled fish at reasonable prices. Also located near the pier is the sliced raw fish market operated by the Marine Products Association. The southern quay is where the boats and ships leave for sea fishing. The ships here are also available for rent for various purposes so events like reunions and seminars can be held aboard the ship.


Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon

Suwon River cuts across Hwaseong Fortress from the north to the south. Water gates were installed on the north and south walls to allow the river to flow through. Hwahongmun Gate is the north water gate of the fortress, containing seven arches, constructed in varying sizes, to let the water through. The central opening is larger than those toward the outside, making it easier to control the flow of water.


Seoul(Jung-gu)

The Yejiwon is located in Seoul Jung-gu Jangchung-dong and has been offering traditional Korean etiquette education programs since its inception on September 16th, 1974. Furthermore, the Yejiwon also serves to introduce the traditional cultures and living cultures of Korean etiquettes to foreigners. Most programs offered are short-term classes, and reservations can be made on the homepage up to 15 days in advance. Reservations are only available for groups of 10 or more and classes are instructed in Korean only, so it may be a good idea to be accompanied by a guide.


Daegu(Dong-gu)

About 200 tombs are located at Dongu Bullo dong hillock near Geumho River. Dongu Bullo-dong tombs have been appointed as a historical site numbers 262, which was formed during the period of Three States. It is also known for its mass burial site of all those who settled and controlled this region during ancient times.


Busan(Jung-gu)

Seoul Kakdugi Restaurant (서울깍두기) has been serving seolleongtang (ox bone soup) since the 1950's. With long history and simple interior that can accommodate up to 300 people, the restaurant is a great place to try Korea's favorite ox bone soup that goes particularly well with kkakdugi (radish kimchi).


Gyeongsangnam-do(Namhae-gun)

The Amethyst Cavern Park is the largest man-made cave tourist attraction in Korea. It is made inside a closed amethyst mine. Connected like a labyrinth, the cave is 2.5 kilometers long and about 16,529 square meters wide. The average temperature is between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius year round. Visitors can observe amethyst stones, see exhibitions, and attend a circus performance full of thrills. Outside the cave, visitors can enjoy a snow sleigh during winter, play facilities, ceramic workshop for youths and children, and hands-on learning experiences using sweet potatoes, peanuts, corn, and herbs.


Incheon(Dong-gu) , Incheon Center

Operated under the business slogan “Innovative Brilliant Hospital,” Incheon Baek Hospital is the only general hospital located in Dong-gu, Incheon. The hospital offers friendly medical service as well as caters to incoming international patients.


Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Located in Gangwon-do's coastal city of Gangneung, Gangmun Beach is separated from Gyeongpo Beach to the north by the stream flowing out of Gyeongpoho Lake. This beach holds the Gyeongpo Summer Beach festival during the summer.  


Seoul(Jung-gu)

Daedo Market sells various imported goods, household goods, men's accessories, interior design items, and decorative items. It is one of the largest places in Namdaemun Market to shop for interior design items. Each shop boasts a diverse selection of unique items, even an window shopping alone can be extremely fun at Daedo Market.


Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Ojukheon is an important house which shows the lifestyle of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). It is one of the oldest preserved Korean houses. In Mongryongsil room of Ojukheon, one of Korea's great men, Yulgok Yi-I (1536-1584) was born. It is told that his mother Sin Saimdang, also a heroin in Korean history, had dream of a dragon before she gave birth to Yulgok. In rememberance of his birth, the Yulgok Festival is held annually at Ojukheon. There are many traditional materials and regional remains which are displayed in the private museum. You can find the painting of Yulgok in Munseongsa (the ancestral shrine of Yulgok).In the Yulgok Memorial Hall you can see the artwork of the talented Yulgok family. In addition, various Buddhist artwork, ceramics, pictures and common living appliances are on display in the Folk Tradition Hall, History Culture Hall, and the outdoor exhibition area. Near the Ojukheon Municipal Museum is Gyeongpo Beach and Sungyojang, the house of a high-class family of the Joseon Dynasty. At Gyeongpo Beach, you can relax sitting by the sea and the pine tree forest. You can also stop by the Chamsori Museum where about 1,600 phonographs from Edison's inventions to up-to-date audios are kept.
