Korea Bamboo Museum
Jeollanam-do(Damyang-gun)

The Korean Bamboo Museum opened in March 1998. It is a comprehensive complex that preserves, exhibits, produces, and allows people to experience bamboo products. It was established to provide a resting area for visitors to Damyang, and to promote the unique bamboo arts of the Damyang region. The museum has five exhibition halls. It has a collection of around 2,555 bamboo products, all of which are on display, ranging from products dating back to the Joseon Dynasty, to modern-day products, as well as other foreign items. The bamboo arts of Damyang have a history of 500 years, starting from the early Joseon Dynasty. The bamboo products are of high quality and known for their tenacity and resilience, since the only bamboo used is custom-made by craftsmen.

Siheung Gaetgol Eco Park
Gyeonggi-do(Siheung-si)

Siheung Gaetgol Eco Park in Gyeonggi-do features the nation's only inland beach along the shores of a river that ebbs and flows with the ocean tide. The park offers the chance to learn about the traditional salt-making techniques, as well as the many unique flora that grow here. The park was designated as a national marine & wetland protected area in February 2012.

Hwarang

Sanbangsan Mountain
Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si) , Seogwipo

Sanbangsan Mountain is the result of violent volcanic activity some 700,000 to 800,000 years ago and is in fact a huge body of lava. The cliffs on the southern side of the lava dome are marked with a rich variety of curious formations such as weathering pits and talus scree slopes, some of which are as high as 200m. As its name ‘sanbang’ – literally meaning ‘a cave inside a mountain’ – suggests, this mountain contains a cave, which is located about 150m above sea level and has a spectacular view out over the ocean. Due to its close location to the sea and its high elevation, the peak is often ringed with clouds. The upper slopes of the mountain have their own distinct climatic conditions and are protected for their value for botanical research.The Sanbangsa Temple and also the Bomunsa Temple, which holds the relics of Buddha, are also located on the mountain. Walk along the stone-steps between the two temples and you will find the Sanbanggulsa Grotto. A signal beacon called ‘Yeondae’ in Korean stands at the roadside in front of the mountain, which, in the past, used to fire and smoke to relay urgent messages. Regarding function, it is similar to the more well-known ‘Bongsudae’ signal beacons; but ‘Yeondae’ beacons were built around hilly or coastal areas while ‘Bongsudae’ beacons were built on mountain tops. Dosol Valley

Dosol valley is located in Mt. Seonunsan, Gochang-gun district. Seonunsan Mountain, which is also called Dosolsan Mountain, is known for its thick forests and intriguing rock formations. Traveling along the valley, one can come across many interesting sites such as Jinheung cave, Yongmun cave, Nakjodae, and Cheonma peak. Dosol valley is also famous for being very deep, where the mountain and water fight each other and whirl around in a yin-yang shape. The green forests in the summer cover the valley beautifully, and the red leaves and white snow decorate the area in the fall and winter.

Sangumburi Crater
Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , The Eastern Part of the Jeju Island

Sangumburi (산굼부리) is a crater with a circumference of over 2 km, and has been designated as a Natural Monument. It is located on the southeast side of Jeju-si, and is a flat crater, about 650 meters wide, 100 meters deep, and 2,070 meters in circumference. If you look at the crater from above up, it looks like a man-made circular stadium. There is a variety of plant-life in the crater. On the north side, Nandaeseong vegetation such as red-thorn trees, and magnolia trees grow, along with the rare winter strawberries. On the south side of the crater, Ondaerim vegetation such as evergreens, maples, and mountain strawberry trees cover the area. Because so many different kinds of trees and plants grow in such a limited space, it attracts the attention of researchers as well.

European café Mouse Rabbit with a white terrace is a café run by Super Junior’s Yesung and his brother.  The store with 3 floors with different atmosphere and charm provides the fun of selecting floors and tables according to taste. The basement floor, called "rabbit hole" and "underworld," has tables and furnaces, enabling comfortable rest with low lamination.  There is the first floor with the counter and the outer terrace, and the second floor with stores decorated with various decorations and figures. The various art products of paper toys, cell phone cases, mug cups, and eco bags designed and produced by hand by Mouse Rabbit is popular with its fans.  Mouse Rabbit was named after the animals mouse and rabbit representing Yesung and his brother running the café.  The showcase within the store is full of Yesung’s pictures, and because you can purchase art products manufactured by Mouse Rabbit, fans are unceasingly visiting the café.  At the end of 2015, with the popularity of Mouse Rabbit’s Konkuk University Store, the second store of Mouse Rabbit was opened at Seochon, a new hotplace selling coffee, beer, handmade desserts and snacks.
