Yangpyeong Dumulmeori

Dumulmeori literally means 'two water area,' and refers to the place where Bukhangang River and Namhangang River meet. The dock for an ancient-style ferry and weeping willows add to the rustic beauty of this area. Another attraction at this site is the three 400-year-old Zelkova trees that appear as one giant tree. A privately owned place, Dumulmeori remains as a popular site for shooting Korean TV dramas, movies, commercials, wedding pictures as well as nature pictures.

Eight Scenic Views of Bukchon
Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Samcheongdong・The Northern Part of the Seoul

Bukchon, literally translated to northern village, refers to the neighborhood located north of Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. The southern land of Jongno, which is present day Namsan, was referred as Namchon, meaning southern village. Bukchon Village was resided mostly by relatives of royal families and powerful authorities while Namchon Village was settled by middle class government officials during the Joseon period. Now referred to as the Bukchon Hanok Village, the neighborhood has become one of Korea's most representative tourist attractions that provide various photo ops. Geumseon Valley

Located in Naejangsan National Park, the thick-wooded Geumseon Valley provides both a refuge from the summer sun, and a wonderful view of the autumn foliage. The valley’s foliage is more colorful and lasts longer than those in other mountains. Indeed, the valley takes it names from the stunning crimson leaves, which are often compared to elegant silk embroidery.Visitors can reach Geumseon Valley on one of the park’s most popular hiking trails, which starts from Iljumun Gate and passes by Naejangsa Temple, Yonggul Cave, and Geumseon Falls, before returning to Iljumun Gate. The hike takes approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Yudalsan Mountain
Jeollanam-do(Mokpo-si)

Yudalsan Mountain (유달산), at only 228m, is located in Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do. Despite its short x_height, the mountain boasts a panoramic view of the entire city of Mokpo and the sea. At the summit of the mountain visitors can find Nojeokbong Peak (노적봉) where a statue of Admiral Yi Sunsin stands – this is the landmark where admiral Yi is said to have fooled and scared away the Japanese troops by stacking straw thatches over the rocks making their small army seem like a much larger one. There is also a pavilion, the April 19th Memorial Tower, a monument with lyrics to the song ‘Mokpo’s Tears’, a Buddhist temple, a sculpture park exhibiting some 100 pieces of sculpture, an orchid park and the Dalseong Park with many things to see. These features make the mountain a must-see destination for those visiting the Mokpo region.
