Gwangju(Nam-gu)

Gwangju Kimchi Town is dedicated to kimchi, Korea's representative food. Visitors have the opportunity to not only learn about the history and culture of kimchi but also experience making this dish first-hand. Another popular program available is the kimchi tasting experince, with a variety of kimchi kept fresh and ready to eat through a HACCP-certified system.


Jeollabuk-do(Jeongeup-si)

Located in Naejangsan National Park, the thick-wooded Geumseon Valley provides both a refuge from the summer sun, and a wonderful view of the autumn foliage. The valley’s foliage is more colorful and lasts longer than those in other mountains. Indeed, the valley takes it names from the stunning crimson leaves, which are often compared to elegant silk embroidery.Visitors can reach Geumseon Valley on one of the park’s most popular hiking trails, which starts from Iljumun Gate and passes by Naejangsa Temple, Yonggul Cave, and Geumseon Falls, before returning to Iljumun Gate. The hike takes approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes.


Jeollabuk-do(Jeonju-si)

Located about 1 kilometer away from Deokjun Park in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju-si, the zoo is equipped with not only diverse animals and plants, but also a field for soccer, a valleyball court and many other sports facilities. In addition to their leisure grounds, the amusement park 'DreamLand' is found to the eastside of the zoo. Opened on June 10, 1978, the zoo houses visitors' all time favorites like tigers, lions, giraffes, hippos, cows, rhinos, camels and more exotic animals, coming to a total of 670 animals made up of 106 different species.

In particular, crystal cabins allow passengers to observe the ocean below the feet, experience the thrill of being suspended in mid-air through its transparent flooring.

Myeongdong 1 Beonji (명동1번지) is located on the famous Chuncheon Myeongdong Dakgalbi Street in the lake city of Chuncheon. The restaurant’s main menu is makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) and dakgalbi, both specialties of Chuncheon that are hearty and delicious!The chopped chicken used to make dakgalbi is 100% domestically produced and is served with fresh vegetables and the restaurant’s signature seasoning. Makguksu, another well-known local specialty, is buckwheat noodles served in cold broth with seasoning on top.


Daejeon(Dong-gu)

Daejeon Station is located in the center of the country, and is a key stop on the Korea Railroad (KORAIL) line. The station opened January 1, 1905, when the railway between Seoul and Busan opened. Located in the old downtown area on the southeast side of Daejeon, the station serves as a railway transportation hub. All the passenger trains bound for Korea’s major cities including Seoul, Gwangju, Dongdaegu (East Daegu), Busan, Ulsan, and Pohang pass through this station. In front of the station is Daejeon Subway Station.
