Ca'del Lupo

Ca'del Lupo is an Italian restaurant, closely located to Paris Baguette in Hyoja-dong, Jongno-gu near Gyeongbokgung Palace Station. Though the restaurnat masters delicious homemade Italian cuisine on the inside, the exterior is wholly Korean. This unique combination of Hanok (traditional Korean house) style housing and Western foods is drawing a lot of people to Hyoja-dong. The great mix of both cultures can be seen in the sophisticated decorations and from the amazing food. The herbs they use are picked directly from the restaurant's personal garden. But to enjoy the atmosphere here, you will have to make a reservation far in advance.

Guam Park
Seoul(Gangseo-gu) , The Western Part of the Seoul

Guam Park is located in the area around Heogabawi Rock, a natural rock cave beneath Tapsan Mountain. It is said that Heo Seon-mun, the forefather of the Yangcheon Heo clan, was born here. The park was built to commemorate Heo Jun who is widely known as a saintly physician. Guam is his penname. It is said that after retirement, Heo Jun came to Heogabawi Rock to compile the famous medical book Dongui Bogam.A part of the Hangang River here was turned into a lake due to the construction of the Olympic Expressway and high-rise apartments surrounding the park. There is a statue of Heo Jun treating a patient and in the lake, there is a purple-colored rock with holes called Gwangju Rock. Before the construction of the Yanghwadaegyo Bridge, this area used to be where visitors would take a ferry (Gongam Ferry) to cross the other side.Heogabawi Rock, which is wide enough to accommodate about 20 men, is said to be where people took refuge there during wars, including the Imjin Waeran War, Byeongja Horan War, and the Korean War. Gwangju Rock and Heogabawi Rock is the site of Jechapaeui (the rock where rituals were offered to the God of the Earth and the God of Crops during the Hanseong Baekje period). This was also the first historical name given to this area.

Andong Folk Village & Andongho Lake
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

On the other side of the subsidiary dam of Andong Dam, thatched houses will be sparsely seen on the hilltop. The area is the folk scene site where an outdoor museum is built. At the entrance of the outdoor museum two jangseungs (Korean traditional totem poles) are set, followed by a monument inscribed with the poem of famous Andong poet and democracy activist, Lee Yuk-sa. On the monument, his noted works “Gwangya” (Wild Plain) is carved. Near the Dam, are the Andong Folk Village, Andong Museum, Lee Yuk-sa Monument, a filming site of “Taejo Wanggeon,” and Andongho Lake.

Sehwa Beach

Opened in 1980, Sehwa Beach may not be a big beach, but has beautiful clear cobalt blue waters. The beach stretches for approximately 200 meters with a distance of approximately 30-40 meters from the shore. Its location nearby Sehwa-eup provides visitors with convenient access of accommodations and other facilities. Nearby attractions include Crinum Lily Habitat, Byeolbangjin Fortress, and Seokdawon Park. Length 1km, x_width 30-40m, slope 5 degrees, average depth 1-2m.

Busan International Film Festival

Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) is one of the largest film festivals in Korea. Beginning in 1996 as the first international film festival in Korea, it is now a major global event.Held in Haeundae and Nampo-dong, Busan, the festival presents over 300 films from 70 countries. The main program themes include: A Window on Asian Cinema, New Currents, Korean Cinema Today, Korean Cinema Retrospective, World Cinema, Wide Angle, Open Cinema, and Special Programs in Focus.The festival also boasts a wide array of special events, outdoor performances and participatory programs. Tickets for opening and closing films can only be purchased online. 20% of seats for regular films (including films screened in theaters or outdoor venues) will be available for sale at on-site ticket booths. Main festival venues include Busan Cinema Center, CGV Centum City, Lotte Cinema Centum City, Megabox Haeundae and Community Media Center Busan.

Aranabi Zipline

As “Ara” means “ocean” in Korean, Aranabi conveys an image of butterflies flying over the ocean. Aranabi Zipline offers a zipline consisting of a pulley suspended on a cable that is 12m in x_height. National Maritime Museum

Exhibitions at the National Maritime Museum encompass all aspects of marine and ocean life. Woraksan National Park

Though the path to the peak of the Woraksan Mountain may be steep and rugged, once you’re up there, you are surrounded by Korean White Pine Trees and looking down on a stunning view of the lakes below. In wintertime the snow covered scenery of this National Park is breathtaking, and has been compared to Korea’s famous Geumgangsan Mountains. The park contains an abundance of wildlife and plants, many of which are extremely rare, so some hiking courses are regulated to prevent forest fires and ensure their protection. Within the park there are several traditional temples to visit and many attractions are located nearby, including the Suanbo hot springs.
