Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gumi-si)

The towering Mt. Geumosan (976m in elevation) close to Gumi Station was designated as a provincial park in 1970. This precipitous mountain features various modern facilities. Daehye (Myeonggeum) Falls can be accessed via cable car. You can also find a 2km-long fortress, Yaksaam Temple, a standing Buddha statue engraved on a rock wall, Haeunsa Temple, Doseongul Cave, Daehye Falsl, and Chaemijeong Pavilion on this mountain.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Route 15 (19 km) runs from Hallimhang Harbor Ferry Dock in Biyangdo Island to Gonaepogu Port. This trail passes through Pyeongsupogu Port, Seongno-dong Agricultural Storage, Hyerin Church, Napeup Elementary School, the entrance to Geumsan Park, the entrance to Baegilhonggil Road, the entrance to Gonaebong Peak, and Haga-ri crossing. Since the route is surrounded by the ocean, villages, forests and mountains, hikers can admire the scenery of Jeju while walking on Route 15.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Every July, there is a beach festival and in just a few months a beachside amusement park will be opening up to the public. Ilsan Beach offers various amenities and is surrounded by accommodation facilities, allowing for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Nearby tourist attractions include Daewangam Park and Hwaam Boat Trail Mark Management Center, which has a lighthouse exhibition center and the highest lighthouse observatory in the area, giving visitors a wide-open view of Ulsanhang Harbor. Hyundai Heavy Industry is also located nearby.


Daegu(Jung-gu)

Daegu Modern History Street is an experience trip to see the modern history that lives on in the alleyways of Daegu. Compared to other regions, Daegu suffered less damage during the Korean War, allowing the city to clearly show the changes that happened from before and after the war. The course includes locations that were important venues of historical moments from the previous generations.

Gangwon-do(Donghae-si)

Cheongok Cave (천곡천연동굴) is a limestone cave that extends horizontally for 1,400 meters. Estimated to have been created 400 to 500 million years ago, it is the only natural cave located in a downtown area. The cave features ceiling craters, one of which is the longest in Korea, along with stalactite curtains, travertine terraces, stalactite cascades, and many other fantastic rock formations. It provides a grand spectacle for tourists and great speleological samples for researchers. As the inside of the cave is lined with over 20 types of secondary formations, such as stalactites, stalagmites, and limestone pillars, it is an invaluable resource for earth science education.
