Gyeonggi-do(Gwacheon-si) , Seoul Grand Park

Seoulland hosts a fun and exciting water festival each summer betwen June and August, centered at World Plaza. The festival features performances, parades, and water fighting games involving visitors and cast members alike. At night, enjoy the beautiful lighting show and night performances. ソウルランドでは毎年6月末から8月までサマー・ウォーター・フェスティバルを開催しており、2016年は6月25日(土)~8月28日(日)まで「cool サマーフェスティバル」として開催されます。イベント期間中は、水鉄砲を打ち合い対決するアトラクションや夜間公演など、さまざまな催しが企画されています。    


Jeju-do(Jeju-si)

Hagosudong Beach, often referred to as 'the Saipan of Korea' with its sandy beach and spectacular formation of rocks and cliffs, is located on Udo Island off the coast of Jeju-do. Although all beaches surrounding Jeju-do are beautiful, Hagosudong is more exotic and distinctive in nature. With a fairly shallow sea level and soft sand, visitors of all ages can enjoy relaxing and walking along the shore while gazing out at the pristine ocean vistas. During the peak summer season, the island becomes packed with visitors from the mainland. People can enjoy snacks and BBQ treats near the seaside and also watch a firework-like nighttime view of the fishing boats lighting up the ocean.


Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Chucheon Animation Festival is host by Chuncheon Animation Museum to celebrate the success of domestically created animations, featuring contests, creative animations for the opening ceremony, a 3D movie festival, product consultations, and other events.


Jeollanam-do(Mokpo-si)

Mokpo Port Festival will be held in Mokpohang Port and Samhakdo Island areas to offer various performance and hands-on program. This festival was chosen as one of Up-and-Coming Festivals by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for consecutive four years and tries to show features of ocean city and local characteristics for visitors to enjoy its romantic ambience.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

Bongjeongsa Temple was built in the 12th year of King Munmu, who ruled the Silla Kingdom from 661 to 681. According to legend, the Great Buddist Monk Ui-Sang (625-702) was launched from Buseoksa Temple and landed on this spot. Documents from Geuknakjeon state that Neungin Daedeuk, a disciple of Monk Ui-Sang, established the temple, and it was rebuilt several times during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910).Bongjeongsa Temple is the largest temple in Andong and possesses the oldest wooden building in Korea, called Geuknakjeon. Past the Ilju Gate and the forest path is the Bongjeongsa Temple. Bongjeongsa Temple has a unique and elegant atmosphere. The old trees and hermitages nearby are also worth a look. There are many towers inside, such as the Daeungjeon (National Treasure No. 55), Geuknakjeon (National Treasure No. 15), and many others. There are also important buildings, such as the three-storey Stone Pagoda, the representative pagoda of the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392). Geuknakjeon from the Goryeo Dynasty and Daeungjeon from the Joseon Dynasty stand next to each other. It is interesting to compare these two types of architecture. Inside both buildings are trees with the complete collection of Buddhist Sutras, Laws, and Treatises.


Seoul(Seocho-gu) , Gangnam・Samseongdong(COEX)

Arts Council Korea is to host 2016 ARKO Contemporary Orchestra Music Festival for Yangak (Western music) on January 26, 2016 at 20:00 at Concert Hall of Seoul Arts Center, lead by Choi Suyeol and played by Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra. ARKO Contemporary Orchestra Music Festival (a.k.a. Achangje) tries to find up-to-date art pieces reflecting Korean composer’s innovative creativity and plays a big role in creative Korean music. First performed through Achangje, the performances are again performed at other locations nationally and internationally, including European countries.These music pieces are sure to be cherished for many years by audiences. This performance will be operated based on pre-reservation policy so register for tickets at music@arko.or.kr with a name, contact information and the desired number of tickets.


Jeollabuk-do(Namwon-si)

Located in Namwon-si, Greenpia Motel is close to Namwon downtown, Gwanghanlu and Jirisan Mountain. It is good to tour Namwon. The cafe also serves as a space for, “Penguin People,” which are what fans of Kim So Hye are called. Photos/Professional shoots of Kim So Hye are displayed in different sizes. Also, there is a penguin that has been made into character dolls, and clothes that are being sold. Varieties of coffee beverages are sold (roughly 3,000 won to 5,000 won), which is quite inexpensive.  


Gyeonggi-do(Siheung-si)
