The Casa Steak steak house recently opened in Myeong-dong at the former location of its parent company, Nolita, the pasta and pizza specialty restaurant brand. At Casa Steak, detailed research and preperation went into their process of making the perfect dry aged steak for their customers. The restaurant also serves a variety of steaks as well as salads, pasta and other dishes.


Gangwon-do(Sokcho-si)

Hansongjeong Garden is owned by a first-rate chef who only uses carefully selected ingredients. The owner-chef won the Grand Prize in the SIFE Seoul International Culinary Competition 2007 and received a bronze medal for his work at the Gangwon Tour Service Competition. He also has a patent on Eolgari Nangmyeon (Cold Buckwheat Noodles with Eolgari Kimchi).


Gyeongsangnam-do(Tongyeong-si)

A memorial park for the world-renowned composer Isang Yun was created in Docheon-dong, Tongyeong-si where the great composer was born. The Isang Yun Memorial Park consists of several sections including an exhibition hall displaying the composer’s legacy; a multi-purpose lounge, serving coffee and selling souvenirs; a Memorial Hall, where all kinds of performances and seminars take place; and Gyeongsa Square, an outdoor event venue.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

Each of the buildings of Imcheonggak is built at a slightly different elevation on Yeongnamsan Mountain, providing each room with plenty of sunlight. The 7 guestrooms vary in size (the largest sleeping up to six people) and are located in different sections of the guesthouse grounds. The large room in the main building has a private bathroom and provides convenient access to the yard. The guesthouse, built with space efficiency in mind, is comprised of five big and small yards. As you pass through the main gate, you’ll see the main building to the left and a pavilion and pond to the right, just past the garden wall. Rising up from beside the pond is a small hill on top of which perches a small shrine.

Marking its 2nd anniversary of this year, Cheonggyecheon will be entertaining visitors with fancy illuminating Christmas tree theme park and photo zones for 30 days. Various events and programs are also prepared for a heartwarming end-of-the-year experience for everybody.


Gangwon-do(Hwacheon-gun)

Yanguidae Wetland Protected Area located between Peace’s Dam and Ojak-gyo is home to a variety of critical species deemed to have a significant value that is worthy to protect. Left untouched for 50 years due to the conflicts between North and South Korea, the area has a well preserved ecosystems. Efforts to conserve this ecosystem and guarding otter nests are needed.


Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon

In honor of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, Suwon adopted the idea of ‘restrooms with culture’- building beautiful, clean, brand new bathrooms at main tourist sites around the city. The Firefly Restroom, located near the Gwanggyo Reservoir, is the most beautiful of them all. It features a tunnel for the handicapped, a ceiling which filters light, a simple interior, a coffee vending machine, and a rest area.


Seoul(Jongno-gu)

(Korea Quality Premier Class) Hotel Nafore is a cozy hotel located in one of the alleys of Jongno-gu, Seoul. It has a total of 52 guestrooms consisting of family rooms, deluxe twin rooms, and standard twin rooms and double rooms. There is also a guestroom designed for the disabled. The elevator, hallway, and bathrooms are also disabled-friendly. Other amenities include a restaurant serving breakfast as well as computers for the guests and business room with a printer in the lobby on the first floor.
