Gyeongsangnam-do(Gimhae-si)

Gyeongsangbuk-do(Pohang-si)

Pohang Station traces its history back in 1918. Since its initation into KTX service in April 2, 2015, the station is ready to emerge as a hub of the southern line of the east coast. It is adjacent to the Jukdo Market, one of the biggest fish markets in the nation (5 min away by foot) and located near famous tourist attractions such as Sunrise Park, Bogyeongsa Temple, Northern Beach, and Oeosa Temple.


Jeollabuk-do(Jinan-gun)

Maisan Condoville, recipient of a three-star rating from Michelin Green Guide, is situated at the entrance to the unique Maisan Mountain, which consists of a couple of peaks named the "female" and "male" peaks in Jinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do. The two peaks can be seen from the windows of all the guest rooms. Jinan’s specialties include red ginseng and ginseng.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Goesan-gun)

Hwayang Valley, located 32km east from Cheongju, was designated Songnisan National Park in 1975.The vivid green mountains and clear waters make it a highly sought after tourist spot. The nearby Seonnyudong Valley, just 7km away, is also a huge draw for travelers.Hwayang Valley is composed of various shaped rocks such as Cheomseongdae Observatory, Neungundae Observatory, Waryongam Rock and Eupgungam Rock. Well-known statesman from the Joseon Dynasty, Song Si-yeol, visited the valley and wept for King Hyojong offering his final bow. This rock where he cried was then named Eupgungam Rock meaning ‘crying bow’ Rock. Waryongam Rock gets its name from its shape, which is said to look like a wriggly dragon. Cheomseongdae Observatory was used in order to forecast weather patterns.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

This is a Korean cuisine located in Dongdaemun Gate , Seoul.It is also famous for Duruchigi (Korean bouillabaisse) made by stir-frying pork and vegetables in gochujang (red pepper paste) sauce.The best menu at this restaurant is Pork and Kimchi Stew.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Sacheon-si)

Sacheon’s Aerospace Museum (항공우주박물관) opened in August 2002. Outdoor exhibits include 13 kinds of aircraft used by the Korean Air Force since the Korean War, five retired aircrafts donated by the American Forces, and two armored vehicles and three cannons used by the land forces. The indoor collection includes over 1,000 items such as wartime photos, battle gear, artifacts from fallen soldiers, and other wartime memorabilia. The museum’s collection also includes the soviet-made ZIS-110 limousine that former North Korean leader Ilseong Kim used during the Korean War, 18 aircrafts such as T-6 (Geonguk), and F-86 fighter jets, and T-34 armored vehicles primarily used by the North Korean army during the war. In this museum, built as a symbol of Sacheon’s rise to the nation’s aerospace hub, visitors can learn more about the aerospace industry and aircrafts.  


Jeollanam-do(Yeosu-si)

The Yeosu Geobukseon Ship Festival, which takes place around Yi Sun-shin Square, provides an opportunity for locals and tourists to come together and enjoy a range of hands-on programs. In addition to the variety of traditional performances and ceremonies, main events include the Geobukseon Ship-drying event, a drawing contest, and a one-night, two-day historical tour program for teens. Yet another crowd-pleaser is the Yeosu International Fireworks Competition, a brilliant display held against the backdrop of the vast sea in front of Yi Sun-shin Square. Visitors can take home part of the magic by purchasing local products at discounted prices at the festival marketplace.


Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Chuncheon Station, located in the area formerly known as Gwanghaeju or Chunju during the Goryeo Dynasty, changed its name to its current title in 1413. The name Chuncheon means a cheon (stream) that starts to flow when the ice and snow from the winter melts in the chun (spring). Chuncheon is a Chinese-Korean word and the pure Korean name of the area is “Bom-Nae,” meaning "scent of spring."


Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Since opening in 1999, the owner of Jasmine has been the talk of the town because of his good nature. He provided food to neighbors in need and offered scholarship money to students from poor families (Gangwondomin Ilbo July 2002, Gangwon Ilbo December 2004, etc…) with the belief that people should share even in general tough times. The owner is very enthusiastic about serving customers the right way. He even hired a Chinese cook for tourists from China and Taiwan who came to Chuncheon because of Hallyu, or the Korean wave. In addition to authentic Chinese dishes for Chinese customers, the restaurant also serves other types of Chinese dishes that suit the tastes of Koreans. With the management philosophy that fresh ingredients are a must in bringing out the best flavor, the restaurant owner uses seafood from Mokpo and vegetables from Chuncheon in preparing delicious Chinese dishes for customers. The owner even holds a meeting every morning with the staff to provide better dishes and service.
