Gyeongsangnam-do(Gimhae-si)

Ulsan has produced iron for 2,000 years stretching back through the Samhan Dynasty and then the Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910). In the 1960’s it began it’s rise as the major iron industrial center of Korea. The region’s traditional iron culture is the theme of this festival. Activities include a traditional folk game called ‘Soeburi (a game played by making iron)’, Pungmul (folk music) performances, and learning programs.


Gyeonggi-do(Gapyeong-gun)

Jaraseom Island Auto Campground has been in operation since 2008 with the hosting of the Gapyeong International Camping Caravan Competition. The campground is highly rated as the best campground in the Seoul metropolitan area, offering outstanding natural views of the Bukhangang River, and eco-friendly facilities. Guests can stay in mobile homes, caravans, or at the auto-camping site. Amenities include public cooking areas, restrooms, shower booths, and laundry machines. The campground operates under a reservation basis, accepted over the phone or online. Nearby attractions include Nine Forest Ehwawon, a filming site for the drama "Iris (2009)," and the venue for the Jarasum International Jazz Festival, taking place every October.


Gyeonggi-do(Anyang-si)

The Kwanak Arboretum of Seoul National University located in Anyang-si, is a central research institution that collects, grows, preserves, exhibits, and studies plants native to Korea and other plants native to the northern hemisphere. The institution focuses on educational exchanges and cooperatives with relevant institutions both home and abroad.


Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Located in clean beach of Jeongdongjin, Gangneung, Gangwon-do, Jeongdong Castle has rooms where you can appreciate the best sunrise. Chungcheongbuk-do(Jecheon-si)

Bakdaljae refers to the steep hills dividing Bongyang-eup and Baekun-myeon in Jecheon-si. It has a legendary sad love story about Bakdal doryeong and Geumbong nangja. Jecheon-si uses the characters of ‘Bakdari and Geumbongi’ to promote. Iljumun Gate is set at the entrance of the hill to offer things to see for visitors. Also, based on Bakdaljae landmark project, it became a famous site for tourists.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , TheWestern Part of the Jeju Island

The Painters Hero is an innovative nonverbal performance that stages the entire process of painting, combined with incredible visual effects and a witty blend of miming, dance and comedy. Audiences will enjoy a play, an art show, and a musical in a single performance that creates about 10 art pieces live on stage through an exciting 80-minute show.Pentatonic Inc. became co-producer of the show in 2008, relaunching it in a designated theater on Jeju-do Island following the success of the Action Drawing Hero show.Locals and international audience members will be impressed as the cast members share the joy and awe-inspiring journey of creating works of art with the audience. Visitors can enjoy the unique performance at Halla Art Hall in Jeju.


Chungcheongnam-do()

Hwangnyongsa Temple is attached to the Taegojong Order of Buddhism. No information is available on when the temple was built, but it is thought to have been built by the descendants of Hwang Hee (1363-1462), who returned to his hometown to avoid political strife in the mid Joseon era, wishing for national peace and the prosperity of the family clan. The temple had been taken care of by Hwang Hee’s descendants for generations, but at one time became ruined. The temple had been rebuilt in modern days. The current buildings were re-constructed by Monk Beobin in 1985. Inside, there are Buddhist buildings like Daeungjeon, Gwaneumjeon, Samseonggak, and Beomjongnu. New additions include the three-storied stone pagoda and the Three Buddha statues in front of Daeungjeon Hall. The oldest relic from the temple is the standing Gwanseeumbosal Buddha statue in front of the Three Buddha Statues. The statue is considered to be about a hundred years old.


Seoul(Mapo-gu)

Incheon(Ganghwa-gun) , Ganghwado Island

Near Dongmak Beach, Seonsu Port (also called Hupo Port) is the largest port on Ganghwado Island. Fishing boasts anchored here often travel to and from the Seokmodo Island area which is known for catches of Large-eyed Herring. Thus the port is known for its many sashimi restaurants offering freshly-served cuts of this fish.Usually return with Large-eyed herring are known for their tenderness and delicious taste. Herring sashimi is available year-round, but many believe it tastes best in May when the fish grow plump in size. In addition to sashimi slices, Large-eyed Herring can be enjoyed roasted, fried, mixed in dishes, or added to soups. Large-eyed Herring soup is a spicy stew that contains ground herring. This delicious menu item is difficult to find away from Seonsu Port. The fish market inside the cluster of restaurants offers fresh seafood including herring, blue crab, king prawns, bass, gray mullet, and webfoot octopus at reasonable market prices.The seaside destination is close to many nearby attractions including: Jeondeungsa Temple, Dongmak Beach, and a scenic drive along the coast Ganghwado Island. The port is also known for romantic sunsets which are best enjoyed when viewed from between the port and Dongmak Beach. 


Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , DMZ•Panmunjeom

Yeoncheon DMZ International Music Festival is an international music festival, held in the Yeoncheon area bordering on the truce line. It tries to introduce a new paradigm of international music festival, reminding concert-goers of the DMZ’s meaning to Korea, the sole divided country, and finding a way to peace through music.
