Gyeongsangbuk-do(Yeongju-si)

Sosu Museum aims to consolidate and organize the nation’s traditional Confucian legacy and to establish the root of the national spirit through Sosuseowon, the first Confucian academy ever created in Korea. As a Mecca of Joseon Dynasty’s Confucianism, the museum is the only Confucian museum where you can experience the very valuable legacy of the Confucian culture and the history (the rise and fall) of Confucianism during the Joseon Dynasty. The museum opened on September 22, 2004 and since then, it has been a place where one can experience the dynamic historical adventure through valuable Confucian relics and remains. The museum also aims to revitalize the local culture of the Yeongju area by showcasing those well-preserved cultural assets and items.


Seoul(Mapo-gu)

The general store area sells bags and other unique modern accessories made of fabrics used in Korean traditional accessories. Tu-joues Café serves Korean traditional beverages. Last but not least, the Tu-joues Gallery is where local artists display their collection of crafts on the fifth day of every month. The crafts on display are available.


Seoul(Yongsan-gu)

Located in Itaewon, La Tavola was the first original Italian pizza restaurant to open in the area. It continues to draw a steady stream of customers, many of whom are foreign nationals. Around 30 different types of pizza and pasta are served at the restaurant as well as an assortment of Italian wines. Boasting illustrated walls and a clean interior, this refined and modern restaurant has become a fixture in the Itaewon dining scene.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Goseong-gun)

Goseong Dinosaur Museum (고성 공룡박물관), located in Sangjogam (상족암) County Park, is Korea’s first dinosaur museum. It was built next to one of the world’s largest dinosaur footprint fossil sites and opened to the public on 9 November 2004. Located in the center of the beautiful Sangjogam area, the museum is a tourist attraction that showcases both major dinosaur footprints as well as breathtaking scenery. The four-story building offers five exhibition halls and other special-purpose rooms such as an A/V room.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

Located in the area of Doduhang Port, Jeju Dodu Oraemul Festival is the sole festival in the area, the theme of which is one of Jeju’s regional resources, “yongcheonsu" (spring water), also known as “dodu oraemul." The festival provides unique hands-on programs available only in Dodu-dong, as well as delicious food to enjoy and other entertaining activities for tourists and residents.


Jeollanam-do(Yeosu-si)

One of the most notable features of Opera Motel is the medieval architectural design on its exterior. The motel has 35 guestrooms equipped with modern amenities, and offers easy access to the famous Dolsan Bridge and Odongdo Island.


Chungcheongnam-do(Seocheon-gun)

The Seocheon Camellia Octopus Festival will be held in Maryang-ri, Seo-myeon, Seocheon-gun. Visitors can enjoy the sight of blooming camellia flower trees and fresh caught baby octopus from the West Sea. Various events will be held such as baby octopus fishing, a Seocheon retrospective photo exhibition, local agricultural product sales, music performances, and more.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Gimhae-si)

Ulsan has produced iron for 2,000 years stretching back through the Samhan Dynasty and then the Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910). In the 1960’s it began it’s rise as the major iron industrial center of Korea. The region’s traditional iron culture is the theme of this festival. Activities include a traditional folk game called ‘Soeburi (a game played by making iron)’, Pungmul (folk music) performances, and learning programs.

Gyeongsangbuk-do(Yeongju-si)

Punggi Hot Spring is located 3 km away from the town of Punggi-eup. It is regarded as the top hot spring in Korea, and the water is 100% natural, containing minerals like alkali fluorine. The area around the hot spring offers trekking at Sobaeksan National Park and chances to learn about Confucianism and Buddhism while exploring Buseoksa Temple, Sosuseowon Confucian Academy, and Seonbichon Village. The water of Punggi Hot Spring contains minerals like sulfur, fluorine, and bicarbonate, which have health benefits such as relieving chronic arthritis, neuralgia, metal intoxication, arteriosclerosis, diabetes, bronchitis, and other ailments. * H₂content S: 1.725 ppm
