Jeollabuk-do(Gochang-gun)

The Midang Literary House is a memorial center for the great poet Seo Jeong-Ju (penname ‘Midang’) built in Seonun-ni Village, Buan-eup, Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, where the poet was born and is buried. In the fall of 2001, a year after the poet’s death, the center opened on November 3rd on the anniversary of the Gwangju Student Movements (1929 and 1930), which took place while Midang attended Jungang High School. Located adjacent to the center are the poet’s birth house and grave. Housed in a renovated branch of Seonun Elementary School, the Midang Literary House was structurally designed to convey the architectural concepts of 'Eco-Friendly' and 'Learning.’


Chungcheongnam-do(Boryeong-si)

Chungnam Boryeong’s Oseosan Recreational Forest is located south of Oseosan Mountain. The area boasts magnificent scenery. Busan(Gijang-gun)

Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

Gangjin Dawon is beautiful landscape of green tea fields located at the southern foot of Wolchulsan Mountain in Jeollanam-do. The area’s big temperature difference between day and night and the air thick with fog provide ideal conditions for tea cultivation. The tea cultivated in Gangjin Dawon has a strong scent and rarely tastes bitter. Gangjin Dawon is the home of the nation’s first green tea product “Baegunokpancha” that was produced up until the independence of Korea in 1945. Since 1980, an extensive area of mountainous territory has been cultivated for green tea production to become the more than 80 acres of green tea fields that it is today. As Gangjin Dawon is relatively lesser known than the green tea fields in Boseong, visitors can enjoy a leisurely time surrounded by the vastness of the green tea fields. Nearby attractions include Baengnyeonsa Temple, the Birthplace of Yeongnang, Gangjin Goryeo Cheongja Doyoji (Goryeo celadon porcelain kiln site), and Dasan Chodang, which is the house where the famous scholar Dasan Jeong Yak-yong (1762-1836) lived during his exile.


Busan(Haeundae-gu) , Haeundae

Myeongga is a 24-hour restaurant serving hot pork soup with rice, a popular hangover dish. Popular menu items include sundaegukbap (Korean blood sausage soup with rice), ttarogukbap (pork soup and rice), naejanggukbap (soup made of the innards of a cow or a pig), sundae (Korean blood sausage), and steamed pork slices.


Gyeonggi-do(Icheon-si)

Upo Wetland Cyber Ecological Park collects data and conducts research on various wild wetland animals (birds, fish, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles), and displays these to the public. The Cyber Ecological Park promotes the message that humans are also part of nature and educates visitors on how we can live in harmony with nature. To help visitors learn more about the ecological environment, the Cyber Ecological Park consists of various galleries: Understanding Uponeup, the Four Seasons of Uponeup, Living Uponeup, Families of Uponeup, and Understanding the Ecological Environment. Each gallery exhibits dynamic models and videos, as well as hands-on interactive programs. The Cyber Ecological Park is a place of education for young people, a place of culture for everyone, and a place of relaxation for families. Visitors are encouraged to experience and learn more about the environment of the wetlands. After viewing all the exhibits, you can take a leisurely stroll around Uponeup Wetland.  


Daegu(Dong-gu)

After 78 years of operating, Ayang Railroad Bridge was discontinued and turned into a cultural space with a name Ayang Gichatgil. This attraction is 277 meters in length, 14.2 meters in x_height and total area of 427.75㎡. Visitors can enjoy the observatory, exhibitions, cafe and other facilities. The attraction was award Red Dot Design Award for restoring a discontinued railraod bridge using public design. Nearby attractions include Simni Cherry Blossom Road, Gomoryeongbi Monument, Dongchong Resort, and Onggijonggi Happy Village.


Gwangju(Gwangsan-gu)
