Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si)

Herb hotel, in the center of Suwon, is located next to City Hall, making it a convenient place for business travelers. Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a world cultural heritage, is also nearby. Jeollanam-do(Haenam-gun)

The Ttankkeut Marine History Museum houses approximately 25,000 specimens with 40,000 pieces on display including shellfish, coral, fish, mammals, crustaceans, fossils, reptiles, and insects from around the world, making it the most diverse collection of items in Namdo. Visitors can take part in ecological activities to learn more about phenomenal and rare marine resources and cultures.


Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Located on a hill on the coast in Taean County, Chungcheongnam-do Province, the Tethys Pension commands an open view of the West Sea. Guests can have great fun in the water and hunt for seashells on Eoeundol Beach, which stretches directly in front of the pension, and enjoy making soap in the pension’s atelier. The surrounding tourist attractions include Mallipo Beach, Mohang Port, Chollipo Arboretum, and Kkotji Beach. The famous local dishes including Blue Crab, Gourd and Octopus Soup, Grilled Jumbo Shrimp, and Grilled Clams are highly recommended.


Chungcheongnam-do(Cheongyang-gun)

Julmudeom refers to the unmarked graves of anonymous Catholic martyrs in Darakgol (Nugok), Cheongyang (Chungcheongnam-do). Darakgol is also the birthplace of St. Choi Gyeong-hwan and Choi Yang-eop (the second Catholic priest in Korea) was also martyred in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do. Because the grave is of more than one individual, it was given the name Julmudeom (group graveyard).Although the exact number of martyrs and their exact cause of death is unknown, they were buried by family resulting in the 37 mounds in three sections. In 1982, Cheongyang Cathedral established monuments to commemorate the name-less martyrs, and Julmudeom became a well-known site for Catholic pilgrimages. In 1986, the remains of St. Choi Gyeong-hwan Francisco were relocated to the Jeoldusan Martyrs’ Shrine reducing the total number of mounds at Julmudeom to 36. 


Jeju-do(Jeju-si)

The Jeju Mysterious Road, also known as Dokkaebi Road, lies on a hill at the foot of a mountain, and connects two major highways on Jejudo Island. It has earned its name, as objects and liquid appear to roll and flow up the hill instead of down, when, in fact, such image of gravity defiance is an optical illusion rendered by the seemingly high surroundings.


Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Located on the Taean Coast, Yeonpo Beach has been a desired vacation spot since 1972. The long stretch of curved sandy beach provides magnificent scenery. It is famous as the beach with the longest period of seasonal operation in the country thanks to its relatively high water temperature resulting from the warm currents. The pine groves and oddly shaped rocks along the coastline make for a fine view.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Okcheon-gun)

Geumgang Resort (금강유원지) has become popular thanks to the construction of the Geumgang Service Area(금강휴게소). With scenic mountains and a large beautiful lake, this resort attracts many visitors. By crossing a nearby dam, visitors can get to Usan-ri. Jeollabuk-do(Sunchang-gun)

Hoemunsan Recreational Forest (회문산자연휴양림) is situated south of Hoemunsan Mountain (830m). Since the area boasts clean valleys and various tree forests it is a good place for people who want to enjoy their rest and take leisurely strolls. In addition, above the waterfall there is a vast cloud bridge where people can feel the thrilling forces of nature. Long time ago, Hoemunsan Mountain was used as a battleground during the Korean War (1950-1953) and still features several relics that date back to that time.   Within Hoemunsan Recreational Forest, there are promenades, sporting equipment, a headquarters’ base, and an observatory. Gyeonggi-do(Uijeongbu-si)

Uijeongbu Station on the Gyeongwon Line is located between Ganeung Station and Hoeryong Station. It used to be the last station of the suburb train but it became an ordinary subway station after a metropolitan subway started operating to Soyosan Station.
