Gangwon-do(Samcheok-si)

Located inside of Haesindang Park, the Samcheok Fishing Village Folk Musuem is a new type of exhibition hall, comprised of a grand video aquarium, living cultural materials and equipment of fisherman of the eastern coast and various hands-on programs. Visitors can learn about folk cultures from over the world at the museum. The museum overlooks the East Sea and uniquely formed rocks and stones. The facility opened in 2002.


Incheon(Bupyeong-gu)

Coogee Holiday is a newly built private pool villa pension located between mandarin fields near Cape Seopjikoji, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do. The pension provides the entire facilities including five guest rooms and an outdoor swimming pool to one team at a time. You can enjoy true privacy here. There are five types of guest rooms in Coogee Holiday. Coogee A Type uses the entire two-story building of Coogee Holiday (250 m2). There is an ondol room and a bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor, there is a bedroom with two queen beds, and two bedrooms with a queen bed and a super single bed each, a living room, and three bathrooms. The basic rate is for eight people, but can accommodate up to 14 guests. Coogee B Type is using the entire second floor of the building. The basic rate is for six guests, but up to seven people can stay. Coogee C Type and Coogee D Type are using a part of the second floor. Coogee E Type is using the entire space on the first floor. A different number of guests can stay depending on the space you book. Inside the guest rooms, there is a shelf full of comic books, PlayStation, a VR console, a washing machine, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The pension also has a variety of facilities that guests can use. Breakfast is served in a cafe-style 80-square-meter space. There is an outdoor swimming pool with supplies such as children’s life vests, water guns, ands swimming tubes. A mini heated pool for young children is also available with an additional fee. A barbecue area and karaoke machines are also available. In the morning, the pension serves breakfast such as seaweed soup, dried pollack soup, toast and salad (the menu changes everyday). You can also participate in a mandarin picking program in the farm owned by the pension, or go fishing on a boat that belongs to the pension. Tourist spots near the pension include Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone, Honinji Pond, Ilchulland, Cape Seopjikoji, Seongeup Historic Village, and Pyoseon Beach.


Incheon(Ganghwa-gun)

Held at Armiae World's Ganghwa Mugwort Zone, the Ganghwa Yakssuk (Mugwort) Festival is a regional agricultural festival that aims to promote health and beauty through mugwort. Armiae World is a theme park located in Ganghwa-gun, Incheon. The festival venue will be composed of a mugwort well-being hall, an agricultural exhibition hall, a special farm products processing plant, an event plaza and the Onsaemiro Maze Park. For the past 5,000 years, mugwort has been rooted deeply in the lives our nation's people. Ganghwa Mugwort is widely known for its great medicinal effects, for it grows with the fragrant minty scent.


Busan(Yeonje-gu)

Gyeongsangbuk-do(Mungyeong-si)

Divided into four areas (Mungyeong, Gaeun, Maseong and Nongam), the Mungyeong Special Tourist Zone is a charming place to relax and experience a variety of activities in nature. Here visitors can find attractions such as the Mungyeong Hot Springs, Mungyeongsaejae Provincial Park and the KBS Film Set. The Mungyeong area is home to Mungyeongsaejae, a mountain pass connecting Mungyeong City and Goesan County. During the Joseon period, Mungyeong Saejae played an important role as the gateway in and out of Gyeongsang Province. Saejae, meaning “bird pass,” refers to “a pass so high and steep that even birds find the crossing difficult.” The Mungyeongsaejae-gil road inside Mungyeongsaejae Provincial Park is well developed and suitable for hikers of all ages. Here, visitors can appreciate the lush forest and the fall foliage in autumn. There are three gates along the pass: Juheulgwan, Jogokgwan, and Joryeonggwan. Collectively, they are known as Mungyeong Gwanmun (Mungyeong Gateways). Near each gateway, there are areas where hikers can stop and take a rest. There are also hiking trails leading to nearby mountains such as Juheulsan Mountain and Tanhyangsan Mountain. The nearby Mungyeong Hot Spring is perfect for unwinding after a long hike. The SBS Film Set and the Mungyeong Coal Museum are located in the Gaeun area just south of Mungyeong. Daeyasan Mountain and Yongchu Valley are located nearby and the area has plenty of accommodation facilities for tourists and hikers. Mungyeong rail bike, which departs from Gaeun Station and Gurang-ri Station, is also popular. Popular summer destinations such as Ssanyong Valley and STX Resort are located in the Nongam area. Many companies visit this place for corporate training sessions and team building activities.
