Green Mountain Youth Hostel
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Located next to the Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju, Green Mountain Youth Hostel is a big lodging house accommodating up to 200 people. It is a two-story modern building (B1 - 2nd floor) with traditional tiles on top. There are 48 rooms in total, a cafeteria, and a seminar room. Cheongunsil and Baekunsil have beds that can be used by one person or more, whereas Ondol Room can be booked by 2 - 15 persons. Every room has a bathroom attached to it, and rooms for 6 persons or more have two bathrooms. The accommodation is suitable not just for solo travelers but for families and groups as well. Meals, including breakfast, are served when booked in advance. Food is prepared with seasonal ingredients based on the number of booked guests. It is our pride that soy sauce, gochujang (pepper paste), and doenjang (soybean paste) used for the food is made by the owner.

Goryeong Janggi-ri Rock Art (고령 장기리 암각화)

Yangjeondong Rock Art (discovered in 1971) is a rock painting 3 meters high and 5.5 meters wide that vividly depicts the life and religion of the Prehistoric Age. Rock art from the time period was created on rocks or other planes considered to be sacred and usually carried a message of fertility. The artwork of Yangjeondong shows layered circles (symbolizing the sun and the moon), crosses (depicting the “life zone” of the tribe), and 17 masks. The artwork is considered to have been used for ceremonial purposes or farming events.

Woldae (월대)

Located in Oedo-dong, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, "Woldae," which means “a moonlight plain,” is a rock in a stream surrounded by densely-packed with centenarian pine trees and hackberry trees.Jogongcheon Stream is a special stream that flows through a valley year-round, which is particularly unusual in Jeju. The stream was named after that a relic, called "jogong", was transported from a government office during Joseon and Goryeo Dynasty to a nearby location. E-An Land Forest was established in 1999 when 1,836 arbor species and 1,418 herb species were planted on a land area of 1,118 hectares. The forest features a tropical garden and various other exhibition gardens, as well as thematic spaces like the Haneul Maru. The forest was finally completed in 2006. Inside the arboretum, there are various things to see such as the herb village, parakeet exhibitions, a pine tree garden, and man-made cave. There is also a mini golf course and an outdoor swimming pool. History Museum of Tongyeong City (통영시 향토역사관)

Spread out over an area of 558.68㎡, this museum is a collection of exhibits highlighting the historic heritage of Tongyeong-si. It holds around 1,000 pieces of lifestyle articles and literature items, as well as photos of Tongyeong from the prehistoric era, Gaya Confederacy, Silla Kingdom, Goryeo Dynasty, Joseon Dynasty, and the modern times. In addition, there are materials related to 12 gongbang (workshop) and the Japanese Invasion of Korea. Visitors can also watch video clips showing the process of making craftworks including najeonchilgi (mother-of-pearl craft making) and somokjang (wood furniture making), as well as videos introducing intangible cultural assets such as the Ogwangdae (five mask performers' dance drama) and Seungjeonmu (victory dance).
