Located inside Boramae Park, the Boramae Safety Experience Center operates an experience program focused on safety measures in the event of disaster. With a 'Safe Seoul' vision, the center teaches safety awareness and safety measures through simulation-based training in how to handle disasters, earthquakes, windstorms, fire and traffic accidents. The center also operates a program to learn about first aid such as CPR and the use of various safety facilities and equipment.At this safety experience center, visitors can also listen to real-life stores from fire officers and participate in the programs to learn more about safety.

The 63 Wax Museum is your chance to get up close and personal with some of your favorite stars and world figures (or at least extremely realistic-looking replicas of them)! The 63 Wax Museum (B3 of 63 City) is the first celebrity wax museum in Korea and is a moderately-sized facility with 70 figures categorized into 11 sections.In the Hall of Fame, visitors can meet former Korean leaders such as Gimgu, Park Jeong Hee, and Kim Dae Jung. Wax figures of Einstein, Gandhi, and Beethoven can be seen in the Historical Figures section and David Beckham and Tiger Woods are among the famous figures in the Sports Star section. The museum also offers unique sections such as the Scary Gallery, Animation Zone, and more.

Not only that, the resort’s enormous seventeen million square meter complex includes a 45-hole golf course, gondolas, swimming pool, and other facilities. This all-season recreational complex allows visitors to escape from daily life and relax. Yongpyong Resort has an impressive twenty-eight ski slopes, including the popular Rainbow Slopes, and offers excellent facilities for skiers. The park’s fifteen ski-lifts include a 3.7km cable-car and the resort's Dragon Plaza is the largest ski complex in Asia, offering a variety of services for skiers and snowboarders. Yongpyong Resort has hosted a number of international competitions, including the World Cup Ski Competition and the Asian Winter Games. It is consequently one of the most popular ski resorts in Korea, and is frequented by many tourists. Accommodation options include condominiums, a hotel, and a youth hostel. Yongpyong Resort is a 2-hour drive away from Seoul, but the resort runs shuttle buses from Seoul during peak season. Visitors traveling from the Daegu and Yeongnam regions can take the Jungang and Jungbu Inland Expressways, and arrive at Yongpyong Resort within three hours.

Opened in 1953 by a woman known as Mabongnim, the restaurant takes pride in its 50-plus years of service. As Mabongnim gained popularity, other similar establishments opened nearby, and eventually, formed the now famous “Teokbokki Street.” The elderly proprietor is well known, even starring in a red-pepper paste (gochujang) ad in the 1990's.The secret of this restaurant’s tteokbokki lies in the fact that red pepper paste is mixed with Chinese soybean paste for a sweet and spicy taste, but has now been adopted by other Sindangdong restaurants. Nevertheless, there is something special about this restaurant’s fare. At present, Mabongnim’s daughters-in-law are running the restaurant.
