This is a chicken barbeque restaurant, which is owned by the mother of Block B member, Taeil. Inside the restaurant, there are fan letters and flat cards, which cover up the walls. Unlike other chicken barbeque places, the Korean Barbeque Gaerong Branch restaurant puts the chicken in the fire oven, which makes the plain and simple taste of the chicken stand out more. The popular menu items are: salt-roasted barbeque chicken, which maximized the plain and simple taste of the chicken, and chives no-bone barbeque chicken, which is assorted with chives.

Appenzeller Noble Memorial Museum

The Appenzeller Noble Memorial Museum opened in 2008 in the East Hall of the Pai Chai Institute, a Western-style educational institution built in 1916. The museum building is designated Seoul Monument No. 16. Dance Musical ‘Sachoom’

“Sachoom” is a nonverbal dance musical that can be appreciated by all generations from all countries, as it presents a simple plot full of various dance genres including hip-hop, jazz, contemporary dance, break dancing, and more. Since the first Sachoom performance stage opened in October of 2004, the dance musical has been seen over 1,900 performances to this date, and is still receiving high popularity. In 2007, Sachoom completely sold-out all of their performances in Japan (Shinjuku Face Theater May 1 ~ May 7), and Sachoom took the record as the most internationally performed musical production in a short period of time as it toured 32 cities. Sachoom was also the first Korean production to perform at the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe (August 3, 2008 ~ August 25, 2008), receiving international acclaim as it was nominated as a powerful musical.The nonverbal performance projects subtitling in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese for foreigners to enjoy. After the musical, audience members can spend time with the performers at the stage lobby.

Snowmounteen

Located in Gangnam, Seoul, Snowmounteen is an ice cream café noted for its iceberg-shaped ice cream dishes and snow white interior walls that bring to mind the inside of an igloo. The ice creams sold at Snowmounteen are thin slices of iced milk or natural fruit juice, free from artificial coloring and low in fat (containing about one third the calories normally found in ice cream). Another original menu at Snowmounteen is the Tapioca Snowthie, a tapioca drink that comes in flavors such as milk tea, chai latte, strawberry, red-ripe persimmon, and crunchy. The red bean flavored smoothie is the most popular drink of all. In addition to a variety of ice cream and drink menus, the crispy Kaya Toast (a popular snack from Singapore made with a jam spread of coconut and eggs) is also a recommended dish at Snowmounteen. Ilmin Art Museum

The Ilmin Art Museum stands in the former Dongah Newspaper Building. The Dongah Newspaper was established in 1926 and has been in the building for 66 years. This building has been established as the oldest building associated with the press in Korea. The building was shut down for a year due to renovations and re-opened in 1996. The museum has maintained its look of tile floors and glass walls through the years. This museum boasts the largest Ilmin collection in Korea. From the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392) there are 430 pieces in the Ilmin collection, 1,200 pieces in the Dongah Newspaper's collection of art, and 100 pieces of art owned by Hyundai Corporation. The Ilmin Collection mostly consists of pieces that Kim Sang-Man collected. Most of the pieces are very simple aesthetic paintings. The Dongah Newspaper's collection has time-relevant pieces that are important in history. Hyundai's collection is mostly paintings of social critiques. In the basement of the museum there is an art shop where original paintings can be purchased.

Sajik Park - Seoul

Sajik Park is one of the three most popular parks in Jongno-gu along with Tapgol Park and Samcheong Park. Located west of the Government Complex-Seoul on the southeastern foothills of Mt. Inwang, the park measures an impressive 188,710m².The name of the park dates back to 1395 when Taejo Lee Sung-gye made the first Sajikdan (altar to the State deities) along with the Jongmyo Shrine (Royal Ancestral Shrine) at the center of the park. "Sa" refers to the deity of the earth while "jik" refers to the deity of the five grains. Rites wishing for a good harvest were held regularly at the Sajikdan. However, the area was not officially recognized as a park until 1922 under the Japanese colonial period.In the park are several playgrounds, statues of Sin Saimdang, Hwanghakjeong, and Yi I (often referred to by his pen name ‘Yulgok’), and the Municipal Children's Library. Dangun Shrine and Jongno Library are situated nearby. By following the path next to Sajik Park for approximately 5 minutes, travelers can reach the Mt. Inwang hiking path with relative ease.
