Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si) , Former Jeju

Saryeoni Forest Trail cuts through the dense Japanese cedar forest growing between Mulchat Oreum and Saryeoni Oreum, starting from the entrance on Regional Road 1112. While the vast majority of the trees growing here are Japanese cedar, visitors can also see Japanese oak, birch, snowbell trees, and cypress trees along this 550 meter-long trail. The forest trail is known as one of Jeju's top 31 hidden attractions, and is well-known as being very protected. It is very popular among tourists who enjoy hiking and the outdoors.


Busan(Haeundae-gu) , Haeundae

Johyun Gallery started as "Gallery World" in 1990 at Gwangan-ri Art Town in Busan by Jo Hyun. After that, the gallery moved in front of Haeundae Paradise Hotel in 1999 and then it was rebuilt on Dalmaji-gil Hill near Haeundae Beach in June 2007. The gallery operates exhibition halls throughout the first and second floor of the building, as well as an art shop at Busan Museum of Art on the first floor. There is also another location in Apgujeong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This gallery focuses on the global art world by working with the international artists.

Created and maintained by the Korean Department of Justice, Solomon Law Park is a venue that provides an easy and fun learning experience regarding the laws and legal system of the nation for youth and adult citizens.The Legal Center offers a chance to become more familiar with the legal system of Korea and overall global legal history with a wide variety of hands-on programs such as a legislation class, scientific investigation class, mock courtroom & trial, and simulated prisons. For pre-schoolers, there is the Children's Law Village where they learn and experience laws in simpler terms. Also, diverse law experience and training facilities in the theme park offer a wide variety of justice educational programs.


Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

The Chuncheon International Mime Festival presents a wide array of performances by hundreds of performing arts teams from Korea and abroad. Chuncheon is easily accessible by public transportation, and also offers easy access to other popular tourist attractions like Namiseom Island and Soyangang Dam.

Seodaemun Museum of Natural History is the first-ever museum of natural history to be established by a public agency. The museum offers children an opportunity to experience and learn about the environment and shows how to preserve the earth’s natural beauty. Seodaemun Museum of Natural History holds exhibits year round and has over 100 open-run programs. It has become a popular fieldtrip destination for teens, a cultural space for residents, and a leisure space for family visitors. Many Asian countries even send representative to the museum to learn from its success.Every floor of the museum has a theme, making it a little easier for visitors to find their way around. The first floor runs under the theme ‘Beautiful Seoul, Harmony between Nature and Human’ and houses a library of natural history, a dinosaur lounge, virtual reality room, aquarium, and visual aid lab. The second floor (‘The Origin and Evolution of Life and its Diversity’) shows the origin of life, the world of the dinosaurs in the Mesozoic Era, the origin of humans, a diversity of land and marine life, and a variety of endangered species. On the 3rd floor, visitors can explore the process of how the earth was created, which culminates in an exhibit on how the Korean Peninsula looks today. On the same floor, dramatically enhanced exhibitions lay open the mysteries of the solar system and explain natural phenomenon such as earthquakes and the creation of caves and rock formations.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Chungcheongnam-do(Boryeong-si)

The Boryeong Mud Skincare Center in Daecheon Beach in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do houses a men’s center on the 1st floor and a women’s center and advertisement booth on the 2nd floor. As Korea’s only mud center, it offers a variety of fun and exciting, hands-on mud programs. Since it is located in front of Daecheon Beach, a dip in the sea can be enjoyed any time. Boryeong Mud Skincare Center also features various hands-on activities and facilities. The Boryeong Mud Festival is held every July.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Seokbinggo means a freezer made of rocks. It is an ancient refrigerator only in Korea. It is located in Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Era (BC57-AD935). The appearance of this wonderful vestige is humble and simple. But you will not be disappointed at the entrance of the freezer. You can feel the cold from inside the structure. Half of Seokbinggo is underground while the other half is above ground, signifying the scientific propensity of Korea. The floor, walls, and ceiling are made of granite and have an airway. The walls are covered with limestone to keep off moisture and water. The floor is slanted to allow melted ice to funnel out. Frozen ice was popular for the upper class. From historical annals, it is assumed that Seokbinggo was made at least 1,500 years ago. Seokbbingo has been designated as National Treasure No. 66.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Yangsan-si)
