Gangwon-do(Samcheok-si)

The Sea Train is a tourist train, travelling along the Western sea, comprised of four divided cabins including two special rooms, one standard room, and one family room. The first and second cabin feature a special themed cabin, equipped with movie-watching system and seats facing the windows. The third car is for family members prepared with table seats, general subway-alike seats, and a cafeteria. The fourth cabin is for groups featuring three-seated and two-seated chairs. The Sea Train has plenty of things to see as it was decorated with a marine theme, including trick art images of clams, ocean creatures and shark as well as unfolded ocean views looking through the windows. Also, monitors equipped inside the room broadcasts music and games that will provide a fun entertainment while in the train. Another interesting feature of the train is the colorful lights that will change its color to green, red, and blue while passing through a tunnel.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , SinJeju

Gapyeong Sledding Hills are open throughout the year. It normally operates from the beginning of December to early March. Unlike other sledding Hills using artificial snow, Gapyeong has artificial grass under its snow as well as the characteristic of having the sun behind the hill so that the snow does not melt. Thus, operating hours are prolonged by 1 month until the end of winter on natural snow.Gapyeong Sledding Hills features two slopes for adults and two for children. With the set up of the ‘horizontal baby-walker (moving walker)', going up the hill is easy just by standing on the sled. Next to the children’s slope, there is a separate snow house and a place for snowball fights.In addition, visitors can experience the unique fun of summer sleighing with the operation of the Water Sledding Hills in summer from the middle of July to October.Gapyeong Sledding Hills also operate the ‘Ice Sledding Hills’ during winter, and it is available with no extra fee.When coming from Seoul, take the bus to Hyeon-ri from the Seoul Sangbong Bus Terminal and get off at Deokhyon-ri Gapyeong Sledding Hills.


Chungcheongnam-do(Buyeo-gun)

Set 1400 years ago, the drama, ‘Seodongyo’, showcases the love between the king of the Baekje Dynasty and the princess of the Silla Kingdom. It was filmed in Chungnam Buyeo-gu at the Seodongyo Theme Park. The theme park offers a variety of highlights such as the royal residences of Baekje and Silla, the place where the nobles held their banquets, the commoners’ village, and the village of the nobles. Visitors can also engage in various experience programs including jegichagi (a game played by kicking around a shuttlecock), swings, character necklace making, trying on drama costumes, and more.Entry into the theme park is possible from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Mondays through Fridays and at 9:00am to 9:00pm during the weekends. Gyeongsangnam-do(Hadong-gun)

Hwagae Market, which appears as the setting in Kim Dongri's novel, "Yeokma" (meaning "Stagecoach"), has a beneficial location on the border of Yeongho-nam and Gyeongsangnam-do, allowing it to easy access to seafood and salt from the southern coast, grains from the plains of Honam, wild vegetables and herbs from the foot of Jirisan Mountain and its lumber trading center. You could count the number of markets of that scale in Korea on one hand.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Yeongdeok-gun)

The Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival is an annual event that celebrates local snow crabs, which were once served to the kings. Among festival highlights, the Snow Crab Public Auction as well as the snow crab market are the most popular. In addition, visitors can ride a snow crab fishing boat, participate in a snow crab cooking competition, and sample various snow crab dishes for free.


Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

Gangjin Celadon Museum was established in 1997 to preserve and succeed Gangjin Celadon Kiln Site (National Historic Site No. 68) and Goryeo Celadon Cultural Heritage. Various exhibitions and educational programs are operated for Goryeo Celadon research at the museum. In addition, the museum opened an exhibition hall specially designed with a motive of color, pattern, and types of Goryeo Celadon and a Goryeo Celadon Digital Museum that aims to meet contemporary digital technology, allowing people to easily participate in the art of celadon with joy. This museum is considered to be an informative historic site to get knowledge of Goryeo Celadon through the past, present and future.


Chungcheongnam-do(Buyeo-gun)

Jeongnimsaji Museum is located in Buyeo, the last capital of Baekje, where the Baekje culture flourished for the 123 year long “Sabi Era.” The museum was established on the building site of Jeongnimsa Temple, which was a symbolic meeting place for royalty and a center for politics based on Buddhist morals. The museum highlights the Buddhist culture of Baekje, said to be the origin of Buddhism in Korea and Japan, and Jeongnimsa Temple, known as the culmination of Baekje Buddhism. The museum also seeks to emphasize the advanced technology of Baekje and reenact the Sabi Era using an interactive approach that relies heavily on videos, panels, replicas, and hands-on programs. Main attractions at the museum include the Jeongnimsaji Temple Site (Historic Site No. 301), the five-story stone pagoda of Jeongnimsaji (National Treasure No. 9) and the seated stone Buddha (Treasure No. 108).
