Gangwon-do(Samcheok-si)

Located 1.4 kilometers away from the downtown area, Samcheok Beach is easily accessible and has a vast white-sand beach that is 1.2 kilometers long and 100 meters wide. Thanks to its pine tree forests, clean white sand, and shallow waters, over 500,000 vacationers visit the beach every year.Its beautiful natural environment has also made it a favorite filming location for Korean movies and dramas. The movie April snow, One fine spring day, and drama South of the sun were filmed here. The beach has a unique beauty and ambience in every season.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Geoje-si)

Surrounded by Mt. Noja (565m) and Mt. Gara (580m), Hakdong Mongdol Beach provides a cozy atmosphere. Hakdong was named so because its shape was said to be like a crane (in Korean "Hak") flying up to the sky. Compared to other beaches, it has small pebbles, "Mongdol" in Korean, spans a distance of about 1.2 km, is 50m wide and covers a 30,000 ㎢ area starting from Yongbawi Rock. The feeling one gets when walking on these pebbles is soothing and the sound of the waves are refreshing. You can also soothe your feet when you walk on the rocks and activate acupressure points on the soles of your feet. The wild camellia forest, which blooms along the seashore in February and March, creates a beautiful landscape. You can also see the Parlsaek (8 color) birds that come here. These colorful birds can be seen from June to September.Hakdong Mongdol Beach has a lot of summer visitors and is the perfect place for vacationing families. The water is clear and clean, and setting up tents on the beach is possible.Near the beach, there are not only great restaurants specializing in sliced raw fish, but also restrooms and homestays which are well-equipped. There is also a beach festival every summer. An excursion ship starts at Hakdong and cruises towards Haegeumgang and Oedo Paridise Island. It would be romantic to take this ship through the crimson Haegeumgang at sunset. 


Seoul(Mapo-gu) , Yeouido・Yeongdeungpo・Mapo

After being used as an oil tank for 41 years, the culture tank was reborn by recycling the tanks that was left over. The 5 tanks were transformed into a performance hall, an exhibition hall, and pavillions, while one newly transformed tank became an information center. With a temporary parking lot turned into a culture yard, where visitors can enjoy various activities while exploring the area.


Seoul(Jung-gu) , Euljiro・Chungmuro・Namsan

Located in Toegyeo-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, Loisir Hotel Seoul Myeongdong is an 18-story building with 7 floors underground. Incheon(Ganghwa-gun)

Seongmodo Island (석모도) is located to the west of Ganghwado Island (강화도). Beautiful West Sea, a drive by the shore, and the great scenic view are some of the features of island's highlights. To get to Seongmodo Island, simply take a ferry at Oepo-ri, which takes only 10 minutes. The seagulls that congregate over the sea, fly close to the ferry boat and provide a beautiful sight.  When you arrive at Seongmodo Island, there is a bus terminal and a bicycle rental shop. If you are planning to hike around the island, rent a bicycle. You can tour around Seongmodo Island on a bicycle, by car, or simply by walking. If you want to go to Bomunsa Temple or Minmeoru Beach, ride the bus bound for Bomunsa Temple. If you want to hike or drive, you can visit most places by going along Ilju Road. It will take only 40 minutes by car, and about 2 hours and 30 minutes by bicycle to look around the island.  The most interesting sites in Seongmodo Island are Minmeoru Beach (민머루해수욕장) and Bomunsa Temple. Minmeoru Beach is the only beach in Seongmodo Island; Its shores are elegant and the surrounding scenery is beautiful with a salt farm near the beach. Bomunsa Temple boasts great views of the West Sea and is famous for its sunsets and a Buddhist grotto that was built inside a natural cave. Gyeonggi-do(Yeoncheon-gun) , Pocheon

Originating in Cheorwon, Gangwon-do, Hantangang River meets with Youngpyeongcheon Stream that runs through Uncheon and Pocheon to the Imjingang River. Hantangang River is divided into two branches at Jeongok Dam before joining the Imjingang River. One branch runs through Pocheon and the other goes through Yeoncheon. The Hantangang River area around Jeongok Dam, is known for its bass fishing, but the anglers avoid the branch that runs through Pocheon because the water is polluted.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Changwon-si)

Nestled at the hillside of Chusan-dong where one can see the entire view of Changwon-si, Moonshin Art Museum houses Moon Shin’s art pieces and keeps his spirit intact. The artist resided in France for many years, returning to his hometown in 1980, and worked hard to establish the museum throughout 15 years. The museum finally opened in 1994 after his endless effort. Unfortunately, Moon Shin died one year after opening the museum, donating the museum to his loving hometown in his will. Following his will, the Moonshin Art Museum was donated to Changwon-si in 2003 and has since been operating as a city gallery. Changwon-si also established Moonshin Round Museum in October 2010, exhibiting 116 Moonshin plaster circle art pieces. Moonshin Art Museum is comprised of Exhibition Hall 1 & 2, outdoor exhibition hall and Moonshin Round Museum, showcasing a total of 3,900 pieces, including plaster round pieces, sculptures, drawing, tools, paintings, oil-paintings and keepsakes.


Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Sun Cruise Resort is a resort located 60m above the sea in the shape of a cruise ship. Surrounding the resort is an extensive park, with themed gardens and sculptures. The theme park's main attraction is the sunrise garden, opening up at the main gate of Sun Cruise Resort. The garden features the famous sculpture "The Hands of Blessing," and other art pieces that blend with the sunrise over the ocean. Other attractions of the park include Grass Park, a large green field, Sculpture park with pieces in three themes, glass observatory, providing a walk right over the ocean, an observatory platform to view the surrounding area, and exhibition hall, showcasing the history of Sun Cruise Resort.
