Jeollanam-do(Jindo-gun)

Once a year at Jindo Island in Jeollanam-do, the sea mysteriously parts and visitors can walk through the sea from the main island to a smaller nearby island. This phenomenon is due to the difference between high and low tides, creating a 2.8-kilometer-long road measuring 40 meters in x_width.The Jindo Miracle Sea Road Festival takes place at the same time as this phenomenon. Visitors can enjoy walking along the sea road, gathering abalone and various other fun activities that make up the festival program. The spectacular sight of the waves parting is widely known and about half a million visitors flock from all over the world just to witness this amazing event.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Changwon-si)

Since its inception in 1960, chrysanthemum farming in Changwon (Masan) has proliferated, accounting for 13% of nationwide chrysanthemum farming. The Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival presents numerous exhibitions, cultural programs, food tasting, and many more.


Gangwon-do(Yangyang-gun)

Yangyang Twin Resort is located in Gisamun Beach, which has a pristine sea that is gaining in popularity as Korea’s surfing Mecca. Its tall waves attract young surfers from all over the country, and the area's cleanest water has long been famous among scuba divers who call it a "Paradise for Scuba Diving". The resort's ideal location comes with scenic ocean views and a year-round sunrise, in addition to the beautiful seasonal changes of the East Sea. In the fall, you can taste aromatic pine mushrooms at the Yangyang Songi Mushroom Festival, and the Salmon Festival is famous for its salmon swimming up Namdaecheon Stream.


Chungcheongnam-do(Nonsan-si)

The Ganggyeong Traditional Salted Fish Market is one of the largest markets of its kind in Korea. Shop owners in Ganggyeong are renowned for making undeniably great-tasting products and are skilled at distinguishing the good ones from the bad. Hence, the best salted fish products are known to be from Ganggyeong. The Yeomcheon-ri province of Ganggyeong is where merchants distribute enormous supplies of salted fish, such as salted shrimps and yellow corvinas, to the rest of the nation. The trade of salted shrimps from these regions makes up half the entire salted shrimp market in Korea. The Traditional Salted Fish Market becomes crowded from mid-June to the end of November, just before the Kimjang season (season for preparing kimchi for the winter). During this busy season, the market bustles with wholesalers, shop owners, and housewives in search of delicious salted fish. From early August to early December as many as 250 drums of salted fish are sold. Also, the Ganggyeong Traditional Salted Fish Festival which is held every year, is well worth a visit.    


Gyeongsangnam-do()

Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium is surrounded by a thick forest. There are Marronnier and Byeokcheon Squares near the entrance to the stadium. Rock carvings Bangudae (National Treasure No. 285) and Cheonjeolligakseok (National Treasure No. 147) successfully recreate life as it was many years ago.


Gyeonggi-do(Yongin-si) , Yongin

Hantaek Botanical Garden, located in Oksan-ri, Baekam-myeon, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, is divided into an East Garden and West Garden. The East Garden is comprised of 25 uniquely-themed gardens that together measure 70,000 pyeong (about 231,420 square meters). The West Garden is a natural habitat for research and conservation purposes and is not open to the public.Hantaek Botanical Garden holds a wide range of festivals, events, educational training programs and other activities while nurturing 9,000 different species of flowers in a clean, natural environment. Inside the garden are Korean restaurants, a souvenir shop, and a plant shop.


Gyeonggi-do(Yangju-si) , Namyangju

The Lighting Museum, the only one of its kind, is dedicated to the art, culture and history of lighting. The 2-story museum is divided into several different sections: Traditional Lighting Hall, Modern Lighting Hall, Lighting Art Hall, Color & Lighting Experience Hall, and Lighting Art Experience Hall.


Jeollanam-do(Gurye-gun)

Piagol Valley is located between Nogodan and Banya peak on Jirisan Mountain. It is named so because in the fall the leaves in the valley turn crimson red. It is also one of the ten most beautiful highlights of Jirisan Mountain. It is famous for its fall colors, but it is also a beautiful place to visit all year around. During the spring time, the royal azaleas cover the entire area, and in the summer the lush forest fills the valley. Its autumn leaves are famous enough to be used in promoting tourism in Korea, and during the winter, the snow-covered valley is also a majestic sight to behold.At the entrance to Piagol Valley, there is the largest temple in Jirisan Mountain, Yeongoksa temple, and other national level cultural treasures are found here. The valley is not steep and should be easy for anyone to reach. The path from the valley entrance to Samhongso is breathtaking. Samhong refers to three “hong”s (red) – Sanhong (mountain red), Suhong (water red), and Inhong (person red). Every year, the Piagol Autumn Leaves Festival is held here, and valley trail walk, local produce sales, and photo exhibitions, among other activities, are promoted during the festival. 


Jeollanam-do(Yeosu-si)

BOBOS Motel appears when crossing the beautiful Dolsan bridge in Yeosu. It is convenient for transportation, as it is 30-minute ride from Yeosu Terminal, Yeocheon station and Yeosu airport. Travelers can enjoy using the ferry to go to Geomundo, Baedo and Odongdo. There is the mud event only for women. Also, the sun-rise at Hyangilam is fantastic. In addition, Jeonnamgwan (remain of Admiral Lee) and Dolsan bridge. Yeosu's representative foods to eat, include Sliced raw Sole(Seodaehwoe), Dolsan Gatgimchi, soymarinated crab meal (called 'Ganjang Bekban'), grilled oyster (Gulguyee), Grilled Geumpungsaenyi.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Ulleung-gun)

With a marine climate characterized by cool summers and warm winters, Ulleungdo Island has over 700 species of medicinal herbs. Cows at Ulleung Yakso Sutbul Garden graze on vegetables and herbs from Ulleungdo Island, giving their meat a herbal fragrance and rich taste that is also tender and soft. The restaurant offers bulgogi, roseu-gui, as well as various kinds of Ulleungdo Island’s traditional food, such as rice made with mussels.
