Suaedang House
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

This hanok was built by Ryu Jin-geol, also known by his pen name Suae, in 1939. It is located beside the head household of the Sugok Clan who were part of the Jeonju Ryu family. When you enter the lofty, 5-kan*-high gate, you will find 3 buildings that measure 29 kans in total. Suaedang House has a gabled-roof, and is composed of a 7-by-2-kan residential area, and a 10-kan shed, which are situated together in a ㄱ-shape. The hanok was used as an ancestral memorial hall, and later designated as the 56th Cultural Relic of Gyeongsangbuk-do. It has been well preserved, as it was built with sturdy pine usually found in the Chunyang region. The patterns on the lattice doors have peculiar shapes, and the house as a whole faithfully embodies the architectural technique of the late Joseon Dynasty. Gyeongsangnam-do(Gimhae-si)

Bongha Village is located 4.5km to the east of Jinyeong-eup, on the foot-slopes of Bonghwasan mountain. It is a typical farming village, and its major produce is Jinyeong sweet persimmons and rice. Its name comes from the mound above it on Bonghwasan mountain, where in the past beacons were lit as a method of communication. Bonghwasan mountain is home to Bonghwasa temple and two famous valleys: Doduk (thief) valley on the east side, named because of the many thieves that used to operate in the area, and Yasi (fox) valley on the west side, which looks like a fox lying on its front, looking back at its tail.Birthplace of the former President of Korea, Roh Moo-hyunThe birthplace of the former President of Korea, Roh Moo-hyun, is a brick house with a slate roof that consists of two small rooms and a kitchen. Although it is a shabby house, everything in it seems rare and precious to visitors. The earth, stones, and water, as well as household items, are popular with visitors. Some visitors even take stones and soil from the garden home with them in plastic bags, and some take water, believing that water from the ex-president’s birthplace is almost sacred.

Sambong Beach
Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Sambong Beach is located to the south of the bridge that connects Nammyeong and Anmyeon-eup. The beach stretches 3 km long and has a x_width of 120m. The beach gently slopes down at a 2° angle and has an average water depth of 1.5m and temperature of 22°C. The beach is easily accessible to many visitors because of the convenient transportation during the summer. The three Sambong Rocks, the Haedanghwa flower (plena) and the rich pine forests are just a few of the beautiful and magnificent features of this beach. The name Sambong, is derived from the three rocks, however four rocks can be seen from the north facing southward while only three are visible from the south. The sand dune created by natural phenomena is a must see here.

Tongdo Fantasia (통도 환타지아) is located in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do Province, which shares borders with Milyang, Ulsan and Busan. This makes the amusement park very accessible by any means of transportation. Tongdo Fantasia operates Tongdo Country Club as well, and nearby Tongdosa Temple (통도사) is also available for visitors who want to look around the local historic sites. The amusement park, the biggest theme park in Gyeongsangnam-do Province sitting at the foot of Mt. Yeongchwisan (영취산), has over 30 amusement facilities, a large-scale swimming pool, a natural lake, a plaza available for holding various events and a large-scale outdoor theatre, all offering various activities and events.

Jeungdo Ujeon Beach

Ujeon Beach stretches 4 km in length on the southwestern coast of the island of Jeungdo-myeon, the biggest natural salt producer in Korea. The silvery white sand as well as the view of the sealine dotted with over 90 deserted islands make Ujeon Beach one of the most attractive seaside destinations. Visitors to Jeungdo Island can explore the sites of salt production and Haetae (a type of seaweed) farming, or go fising at nearby islands, including Naegaldo and Oegaldo Island, Myeongdeokseom Island, Daeseom Island, Bunamdo Island and Myeongseom Island.

Ttangkkeut Songho Beach

Situated at the southernmost part of the Korean peninsula, Ttangkkeut Songho Beach is the most representative beach in Haeum, featuring dense old pine trees, fine sand, and shallow water perfect for a family vacation spot. Hundreds of pine trees create a scenic forest almost 1km long along the levee which provides a suitable camping site under the forest. Ttangkkeut-gil walking path connects the front of an auto camping site at Songho Beach to Galsan Village and Ttangkkeut Top. The Windbreak pine tree forest in Songho-ri, Haenam is designated as Jeollanam-do’s Monument No. 142, including around 600 pine trees aged 200 years and playing a role in the coastal shelterbelt.

To this end, the Children’s Observatory provides a wide range of educational programs developed by expert educators from diverse fields of majors at Yonsei University.In the future, the observatory hopes to continue to expand its experience-centered, in-depth educational programs to help children reach a better understanding of astronomy and natural science principles. Saneum Recreational Forest

Gyeonggi-do Yangpyeong’s Saneum Recreational Forest (산음자연휴양림) is located at the base of Danwol-myeon Saneum-ri Bongmisan Mountain. The forest is very lush and the valley boasts spectacular views.
