Gyeongsangnam-do(Changnyeong-gun)

Upo Wetland Cyber Ecological Park collects data and conducts research on various wild wetland animals (birds, fish, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles), and displays these to the public. The Cyber Ecological Park promotes the message that humans are also part of nature and educates visitors on how we can live in harmony with nature. To help visitors learn more about the ecological environment, the Cyber Ecological Park consists of various galleries: Understanding Uponeup, the Four Seasons of Uponeup, Living Uponeup, Families of Uponeup, and Understanding the Ecological Environment. Each gallery exhibits dynamic models and videos, as well as hands-on interactive programs. The Cyber Ecological Park is a place of education for young people, a place of culture for everyone, and a place of relaxation for families. Visitors are encouraged to experience and learn more about the environment of the wetlands. After viewing all the exhibits, you can take a leisurely stroll around Uponeup Wetland.  


Chungcheongnam-do(Nonsan-si)

There stands a tall and clean building across the lake, 10km from Nonsan city. It is Lake Hill restaurant!! This building is decorated in a European style and is a restaurant that offers room and board. It is a traditional restaurant where you can enjoy a musical performance and a nice view of the lake while eating.The inside of the restaurant is well kept and every employee offers high-quality service. All meals are Western dishes with the exception of breakfast. It’s a good place to meet with family and to hold a small party.


Gyeonggi-do(Icheon-si)

Icheonok is situated in a hot springs city with a long history. Located only about 50 minutes by intercity and express bus from Dongseoul and Gangnam Express Bus Terminal, it’s a great place to relieve your stress by dining in comfort. It serves Icheon rice and a table full of delicious side dishes.


Gangwon-do(Yanggu-gun)

Opened June 20, 2000, the War Memorial Museum in Yanggu was built to commemorate the sacrifice and heroism of those who fought during the Korean War at the nine battlefields located in Yanggu: Dosolsan, Daeusan, Bloody Ridge, Baekseoksan, Punch Bowl, Gachilbong, Danjang Ridge, 949 Hill, and Christmas Hill. The museum also reminds the current and future generations of the real cost of war and the sacrifices that were made. The exhibition hall is divided according to themes: freedom, welcoming, meeting, understanding, experience, assurance, tribute, rooftop, and contemplation. Exhibition facilities include a high-quality imaging system and a three-way multi imaging room that combines battle scene dioramas, videos, and slides.


Gangwon-do(Sokcho-si)

Sokcho-si holds the Sokcho Sunrise Festival in the area around Sokcho Beach on the first day of the New Year. This year, the festival aims to provide a venue for the union of the locals and tourists, to deliver messages of hope and pride to citizens, and enhance the image of Sokcho as a tourist city full of positive energy to tourists. The festival offers many attractions and entertainment for visitors.


Gangwon-do(Inje-gun)

Oseam (오세암), is an annex of the larger Baekdamsa Temple (백담사), it is a small Buddhist temple built in 644 under the reign of Queen Seondeok of the Shilla Dynasty. It is the home of the famous legend that provided inspiration for the production of Oseam the movie, and the animated film. It is a popular meditation venue for Buddhist monks and famous poets, including Siseup Kim and Yongun Han, who are said to have stayed here. It lies against the backdrop of Gwaneumbong Peak and is surrounded by the many scenic tourist attractions of Mt Seorak.


Jeollabuk-do(Gochang-gun)

The Moyang Fortress was built by the region’s citizens in order to block the 1453 invasion of Japanese forces. It is also called the 'Gochang Eupseong'. The circumference of the fortress is measured at 1,684m and it has a x_height of 4~6m with three main gates and various facilities for soldiers. Parts have been burned down and are currently undergoing restoration. The main event of the Gochang Moyang Fortress Festival is the ‘Dapseongdori’, an event where you carry rock on top of your head and round the fortress three times. This ceremony is attended by all the region’s citizens as it is said to cure all illnesses, grant you a long and healthy life, and allow you into Heaven when you die. Aside from the Dapseongdori event, the festival includes a Joseon Dynasty military ceremony and there are many other sights to see.


Chungcheongnam-do(Asan-si)

Gongseri Catholic Church is the main Catholic parish, which was built in 1894 on the hill of Gongseri, Inju-myeon that connects Asanman Bay to Sapgyocheon. Early missionaries landed here to begin their work. A common house was used as a church in the early years however, in 1897 a rectory was built and in 1922, the main church was created. This was the first church in Chungcheongnam-do and it was divided in different locations such as Gongju, Anseong, Onyang and Dunpo. The grounds have three graveyards of prosecuted martyrs, 4626 sq.ft. area parish and rectory, retreat house, meeting room as well as beautiful view of the green including an old zelkova tree.


Gangwon-do(Samcheok-si)

Located in Samcheok, Gangwon-do Province, High1 ChooChooPark is Korea’s first resort designed to offer the longest and best railroad experience. As Korea’s only train themed park comprised of a mountainside railroad and the Yeongdong Railroad Line, High1 ChooChooPark allows visitors to experience and enjoy a memorable and exciting train journey. Nearby tourist destinations include the Saecheonnyeon Coastal Road, which was selected as one of Korea’s “100 Most Beautiful Roads,” and Janghohang Port, which is often referred to as the “Napoli of Korea,” and also where visitors can enjoy snorkeling, sea rafting, and other aquatic activities.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Ulleung-gun)

Taehahyangmok (or Juniper Tree in English) Tourist Monorail takes visitors on a tour of the beautiful site in Ulleung-do Island. The monorail starts from ‘Charcoal Cave’ in Taeha-dong and ends at ‘Taeha Lighthouse’, the best vista point in Ulleung-do Island. The monorail travels for 6 minutes on a 304m rail climbing uphill at a maximumof  39-degree incline. The service consists of two cars from which magnificent views of the ocean can be enjoyed through the 360-degree glass windows.A 10 minute walk from the monorail departure point takes visitors to the Taehahyangmok (Juniper Tree) Observatory. The ocean views from the observatory are considered one of the ten most beautiful spots in Korea, attracting a large number of visitors every year. The image of the island’s forestry combined with the deep blue ocean and jagged rock formations like Gongam Rock, Noinbong Peak, Songgotbong Peak, and Samseonam Rock that also offer fantastic photo opportunities.
