Gyeongsangbuk-do(Uljin-gun)

The 250 meter long Hupo Beach is situated right by Hupohang Port. The combination of an expansive sandy beach and indigo blue waters of the East Sea create a splendid view, drawing a large number of vacationers in the summer. Hupohang Port is the main receiving and distributing port for fish caught in the East Sea and in the early morning offers a great chance to not only see fish being hauled from boats to the fish market, but also to purchase fresh raw fish at an affordable price. In the hill north of the Hupo Beach stands the Hupo Lighthouse where one can get an open view of the East Sea and the Uljin area. Hupo Beach is one of the few beaches offering a splendid view of both the port and the lighthouse.

Gangwon-do(Goseong-gun)

Next to Hwajinpo Lake and a dense forest of pine trees lays Hwajinpo History and Security Museum. Its premier location near amazing ecological sites makes the museum a popular destination to pay a visit. Originally built as a summer house former president Syngman Rhee in 1954 and used as a private villa until the early 1960s, after his regime was overthrown, the building was left neglected. In July of the following year, 1997, the Korean Army remodeled the house, turning the place into a historical museum for goods used during warfare and other historical remains of former presidents. Adding auxiliary buildings and completing another major restructuring projects in February 2007, it became open to the public displaying artifacts exhibiting Korea's significant past and serving as a hub for security education.


Gangwon-do(Taebaek-si)

The O2 Ski Resort has a particularly good location in Taebaek City, Gangwon Province, which not only receives the first snowfall in Korea, but also has the longest snow season. The ‘town-style’ O2 Resort is located only ten minutes from downtown Taebaek and has a wide variety of sightseeing opportunities and entertainment options. The nearby locations of the Hangang and Nakdonggang Rivers provide particularly soft and natural snow, which is great for skiing. The restaurant still continues to use only the best ingredients, so the dishes are delicious and savory. The restaurant’s long history means that there are a wide variety of dishes at a wide range of prices. Special Features - A Chinese-Korean chef prepares a wide variety of dishes. - The restaurant uses lemon juice instead of vinegar on food and stock made of chicken bones.
