Gangwon-do(Hongcheon-gun)

Hongcheon Hot Springs has a great seaside view and the water at the springs contains a lot of alkali sodium bicarbonate that has a silky texture and is great for skin health. In addition, if people who suffer from hyperacidity drink this spring water, the water helps neutralizes stomach acid. It also is good for recovering from fatigue, neuralgia, rheumatoid arthritis, hypertension, allergy dermatitis, eczema chronicum, removing fat, healing skin cells, and anti-aging.


Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

Muwisa Temple is located on Wolchulsan Mountain in Wolha-ri, Seongjeon-myeon, Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do. The temple has at least 1,100 years of history as it was established sometime before the early 10th century under the name Muwigapsa. The temple houses many significant Buddhist treasures: Geungnakbojeon Hall (National Treasure No. 13), Amitayeorae-samjon-jwasang (three seated Buddha statues; Treasure No. 1312), Muwisa Seongakdaesa-pyeongwang-tapbi (stele accompanying pagoda of Buddhist priest Seongakdaesa of Muwisa Temple; Treasure No. 507), and several Buddhist mural paintings including Amitayeorae-samjon-byeokhwa (National Treasure No. 313), Baegui-gwaneumdo (Treasure No. 1314), and Naebyeok-samyeon-byeokhwa (Treasure No. 1315).


Gyeonggi-do(Gwangju-si)

Gwangju Toechon Tomato Festival takes place in Toechon, which has been growing tomatoes since the 1970s. In addition to programs and performances involving tomatoes, the festival will feature the famous Tomato Well-Being Food Tasting & Exhibition.


Jeollanam-do(Suncheon-si)

Nagan Folk Recreation Forest is situated in Nakan-myeon, Suncheon, conveniently accessed by trains (two railway lines, Jeolla Line and Gyeongjeon Line) and two highways (Namhae Highway and Honam Highway). Just two kilometers from the historic Nagan Fortress Folk Village, Nagan Folk Recreation Forest boasts exquisite surroundings. Some famous attractions near the forest are Songgwangsa Temple, Seonamsa Temple, Juamho Lake, and Sangsaho Lake, offering opportunities to appreciate ancient temples and the glow of the setting sun over the lakes. Perhaps more famous nearby attractions, though, are the breathtaking rows of reeds at Suncheon Bay and Nagan Fortress Folk Village, the home of cultural festivals and events.Lying on a local highway between Suncheon and Naksan, this forest is surrounded by mountains and a river with a homely garden atmosphere. The two beautiful mountains, Geumjeonsan (667.9m) and Obongsan (591m) snuggly envelop Nagan Folk Recreation Forest. On rainy days, visitors can enjoy spectacular falls of water at Virgin Falls (Cheonyeo Pokpo in Korean) within the forest.Every year, Nagan Fortress Folk Village hosts Nakan Folk Culture Festival (a main festival held in Suncheon from end of April to early May) and Namdo Food Festival (October) while Yeosu, another nearby city, holds Azalea Festival and Turtle Ship Festival (from April to May) and Boseong, Boseong Green Tea Festival and Illimsan Royal Azalea Festival (May). 


Gyeongsangnam-do(Geochang-gun)

The Geochang International Festival of Theatre, which opens every year with topics of nature, man, and drama, can be enjoyed in the beautiful valleys of Susengdae during the day and under the midnight stars at night. The festival is one of the many that are succesfully held by the local self-governing organizations. Jeollanam-do(Yeonggwang-gun)

The Bulgapsa Temple (불갑사) of Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do, was the very first Buddhist temple to be built in Korea. Monk Marananta, who was the first Indian monk to spread Buddhism in Korea, is said to have established the temple here around the year 384, during the reign of King Chimnyu.The main hall (daewungjeon) in Bulgapsa has been designated as national treasure No. 830. The motifs on the doors of the hall are famed for their beautiful designs. The temple also has other buildings of distinction such as the Manseru, Myeongbujeon and Ilgwangdang, a Neolitsea sericea tree designated as natural treasure No. 112. The temple is also famous for a magic lily which blooms in the late summer. The path into the Bulgapsa Temple is ideal for a restful walk and contemplation.


Incheon(Ganghwa-gun) , Ganghwado Island

Gyodongdo Island is located northwest of the larger Ganghwado Island, and was made more accessible with the opening of Gyodongdaegyo Bridge in July 2014. The name changed with different dynasties, being Gomokgeunhyeon during the Goguryeo Era and Gyodonghyeon by Silla King Gyeongdeok. The island served as an important stopover point for ambassadors and envoys heading to China. Popular attractions on the island now include Daeryong Market, an alleyway market decorated with colorful murals and statues, and Manghyangdae Memorial, a gathering place for refugees for fled from the nearby Hwanghaedo Island during the Korean War.


Incheon(Yeonsu-gu) , Incheon Center

If you hike up to the mountain peak early in the morning, you may catch a glimpse of the gorgeous sunrise over the East Sea. The hiking trail starts from in front of the Baegam Hot Springs Hotel. Hikers follow the southern ridges and continue through the pine tree forests to reach the top of the mountain. From the top of the mountain, you can admire beautiful views of the East Sea and the tall mountains that stretch to the west and the north. Below the peaks are the Gomosanseong Fortress, Halmaesanseong Fortress, and Baegamsanseong Fortress. After admiring the beautiful wildlife from the peak of Baegamsan Mountain, enjoy the spas at the Baegamsan Hot Springs Resort, which is located just at the foot of the mountain.
