Gyeonggi-do(Gimpo-si)

Gimpo Sculpture Park is situated in a large forest and decorated with 30 sculptures: 14 by international artists and 16 by Korean artists. Since the site is located near the DMZ, the only divided country in the world, each sculpture expresses the overarching theme of unification. A favorite spot for weekend picnicking families and couples on dates, the park is expected to be included in a large tourist complex in the near future along with nearby Reports Park and the youth training center.


Chungcheongnam-do(Dangjin-si)

Dangjin Marine Tourism Organization, also known as Sapgyo Hamsang Park, is a unique theme park where old battleships have been turned into experience and exhibition halls. The park is comprised of a themed exhibition hall focused on the navy and marines, the inside and outside of military ships, flights and other exciting facilities, including a 3-D video room, game center, carnival plaza, and indoor entertainment facility to help children admire and become intimate with the Navy and Marines. Also, Hamsang Cafe provides another resting area to enjoy ones visit fully.


Gyeonggi-do(Gwacheon-si) , Seoul Grand Park

Organized by the Gwacheon-si Office and sponsored by the National Institute of Intangible Heritage, 'Eolssu! Arirang Gukak Festival (얼쑤! 소리꽃 아리랑)' is taking place at Sangsang Hall, located inside of Gyeonggi Sori Initiation Hall. Visitors can participate in the event every Saturday (4 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.), beginning October 25 and lasting until December 13, 2014, with no need to purchase tickets. Including many traditional songs like Arirang and dance performaces widely known to the public, some unique programs such as Gyeonggi minyo (folk song) will also be showcased here.


Jeollanam-do(Haenam-gun)

Containing many Buddhist temples and ruins as well as spectacular scenery, the 703m high Mt. Duryunsan is located at the southern most point of the Korean peninsula. Formed by subtropical green broadleaves and temperate deciduous broadleaf trees, the mountain is valued highly for observing plant chorology. Moreover, the Aegean Sea in the western and southern sea can be seen at a glance at the summit of eight mountains, although wide fields of reeds cover many areas. During the fifth year of King Jinheung's reign (514), Buddhist priest, Ado, built Daedunsa Temple, which is a place of great historical value as it is also related to the Buddhist priest, Seosan. The temple is proudly among dense woodlands, consisting of maple trees and camellias. Breathtaking scenery of valleys and luxuriant trees can be seen on both sides of the 2km road leading to the temple.


Jeollanam-do(Yeosu-si)


Busan(Yeongdo-gu)

Mokjangwon has a traditional Korean atmosphere mixed with modern design, and each of the floors has a unique interior. It’s the largest restaurant in Busan. After dining, you can take a stroll on the walking trail or go to the observatory nearby with your family or friends to rest.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Jecheon-si)

Located in Woraksan National Park, the Korean Culture Experience Center is where one can experience traditional Korean culture. Participants can experience a range of cultural activities and learn from the wisdom of our ancestors. The center's licensed instructors continuously work on the development of new programs in order to provide today's youth with opportunities to experience Korean culture and tradition. In addition, the center offers meals made with local products.


Gangwon-do(Donghae-si)

Chuam Suspension Bridge is located near Chotdae Rock, famous as a sunrise spot. The 72 meters long suspension bridge is the first suspension bridge that crosses over the ocean in Korea.


Incheon(Ganghwa-gun) , Ganghwado Island

The Ganghwagun Agricultural Center located in Ganghwa-gun, Incheon opened in 2003 as a cultural and training center. The center provides patrons with a relaxing environment to learn about farming culture in Korea and the public value that the agricultural industry has for Korea. In the center, you may enjoy such hands-on farming activities like harvesting potatoes or picking peppers. The center also holds a farmers’ market where you can buy locally produced goods directly from farmers.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si)
