Jeollabuk-do(Gochang-gun)

문수사는 전북 고창과 전남 장성과의 사이에 놓여 있는 문수산(621m)중턱에 자리 잡고 있다. 고수면소재지에서 고수도요지를 지나 위로 올라가면 조산 저수지가 나오고, 왼쪽 골짜기를 타고 6km 정도 비포장길을 오르면 울울창창 숲이 우거진 산등 서향으로 문수사가 있다. 물이 맑고 숲이 좋은데도 인적이 드물어 오염이 전혀 되지 않은 곳이다. 신라의 명승 자장율사가 당나라로 건너가 청량산에서 기도를 거듭한 끝에 문수보살의 가르침을 받고 귀국한 후, 우연히 이곳을 지나다가 산세가 당나라 청량산과 흡사하여 문수산에 있는 굴속에서 며칠간 기도하자 역시 문수보살이 나타나므로 이곳에 절을 지었다고 전하나, 지어진 시기는 확실치 않다. 지방유형문화재 제51호인 대웅전과 52호인 문수전이 있으며 기타 명부전, 한산전 등이 남아 있다. 대웅전은 소규모의 건물로 맞배지붕이 특이하다. 우거진 녹음 사이로 계곡 물과 가을 단풍이 천년 고찰과 잘 어우러져 보는 이의 발길을 잡는다. 수령 100~400여 년 된 단풍나무 수십 주가 군락을 이루고 있다. 고창 은사리 단풍나무숲은 문수산 입구에서부터 중턱에 자리한 문수사 입구까지의 진입도로 약 80m 좌우측 일대에 수령 100년에서 400년으로 추정되는 단풍나무 500여 그루가 자생하고 있는 숲이므로 2005년 천연기념물 제463호로 지정되었다. * 관람최적시기 : 가을(단풍)


Gyeongsangnam-do(Hapcheon-gun)

Yeonhosa Temple is located in Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. With its back to Gayaseong Fortress, the temple faces Hwanggang River. The view of the gently flowing river from the pavilion is relaxing, but the view of the moon reflecting perfectly off the water is a sight not to be missed. The temple was built in 643 A.D., during the Three Kingdoms period by Buddhist Master Wawoo to comfort the spirits of Kim Chun-chu's daughter, Gotasorang, her husband Kim Pum-seok (Juk-juk), and the 2,000 Silla soldiers who died during a battle with Baekje in the previous year.  


Jeollanam-do(Sinan-gun)

Hongdo Island is located 115 km southwest of Mokpo Harbor. It is composed of about 20 islands, and because it has an usual reddish-brown color about it, it is called Hongdo (Red Island). When the sun sets over the island, the whole area takes on a reddish hue.The seashore is bordered by towering sea cliffs with diverse shapes of rocks. With the blue sea and green forest, it remains the most spectacular sight in the Southern Sea. Hongdo Island has 33 officially designated beautiful sceneries, but the most famous of them all is the Hongdosipkyeong. Along with Nammun Rock and Seokhwagul Cave, Hongdosipkyeong shows off the beauty of Hongdo Island, and if you take a ferry to the island, you can see almost all of Hongdosipkyeong. It takes about 2 hours to go around the island, and you can explore the mysterious nature and its beauty. On the island, there are about 270 kinds of evergreens and 170 types of animals. As the government wanted to preserve the natural state of the island, it was designated as a Natural Preserved Area in 1965, and since 1981, has became part of Dadohae Marine National Park. With forests of pine trees and chestnut trees, it is also the native home of the very rare daeyeoppung reed.Because the entire island of Hongdo has been declared a Natural Monument, people are not allowed to enter areas other than the villages and designated tourist areas. Because of this, you cannot bring out even one stone or a pocket of grass from the island. Visitors that break the rules will be fined. 


Gangwon-do(Taebaek-si)

While strolling along the 3m-path of the riverside, connecting Gudam Village to Cheondam Village, tourists will be impressed by the beautiful scene created by maehwa (plum blossoms) and cherry blossoms. The village became more and more famous thanks to its cozy ambience comprised of Seomjingang River, plum blossoms and Zelkova in the mouth of the village, attracting visitors to enjoy a walking trip. The village has also served as a filming location for movies, including the movie Spring in My Hometown, released in 1998.


Daejeon(Seo-gu)

Ltd. flying in and out of the city. The maximum number of aircraft movements that the airport can accommodate per year is about 115,000, numbering more than 450,000 passengers. The hangar can fit one B737 aircraft. There are about 90 parking spaces available in the parking lot. ​


Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Jeong Gwan Ru is the only accommodation on Nami Island, a popular tourist attraction in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do Province. Gangwon-do(Hongcheon-gun)

Gongjaksan Mountain (887m), home to Sutasa Temple, gives visitors a bird’s-eye view of Hongcheon, named for its resemblance to a peacock proudly displaying its tail feathers. From the bottom, Gongjaksan Mountain looks like a giant laying on his back, looking up to the sky. The mountain offers elegant azaleas in spring, beautiful fall foliage, majestic cliffs with unusual rocks, colonies of pine trees, and a serene snowscape in winter.Sutasa Valley, stretching over 12km between Sutasa Temple and Nocheon-ri, is full of large ponds and broad bedrocks and is flanked by rocky cliffs and pine groves.Located among the foothills, Sutasa Temple is an ancient temple built by Monk Wonhyo in 708 A.D. The temple boasts numerous cultural properties including the gabled roof of Daejeokgwangjeon, a bronze bell (circa 1364), a three-tiered pagoda, and Wolinseokbo (a biography of Buddha, National Treasure No.745). 


Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

Gangjin has many scenic landscapes with Wolchulsan Mountain to the north and the sea of Gugangpo dotted with numerous islets and wetlands to the south. It is also home to beautiful mountains, rivers, and plains that add to its scenic beauty and natural features. The Baengnyeonsa Temple and Dasan Chodang to the west of Gangjinman Bay, and the reeds along the coastline are a beautiful sight to behold. Also, the National Highway No. 23 that runs along the eastern border of the Gangjinman Bay, past the town of Gangjin-eup to Maryang, is famous for its many spectacular sights. Above all, it is highly recommended to hike up the Cheonilgak Pavilion in front of the Dasan Chodong Dongam (east hermitage) for a panoramic view of Gugangpo’s coastal waters. The hiking trail that traverses Mandeoksan Mountain leads to Baengnyeonsa, which is a temple with breathtaking ocean view.
