Jeollanam-do(Jangheung-gun)

Gangwon-do(Yeongwol-gun)

Gossi Cave located in Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do Province is a limestone cave almost 6km long. Its name came from the story that the Go family, fighting against Japanese soldiers, took refuge here during the Japanese invasion of Korea. Inside the cave, there are stalactites, stalagmites, four lakes, three falls, six plazas (open spaces) that have been formed over the past 400 million years. In addition, there are about twenty-four microorganisms that inhabit the cave. Spots where the Go family made fires can still be seen. Visitors can enjoy various facilities nearby such as an amusement park, shops for traditional local products, traditional restaurants, and accommodations.

It's the first of its kind in Korea and has the most trainers and approximately 1,000 surfboards while also operating Surf School. Training is available for all different levels from beginners to advanced, and for those only looking to surf, board and wetsuits are available for rent. Surf yoga, longboard, snorkeling and other programs are also available. The beach has various zones including bean bag zone, hammock zone, chilling zone, and sunbed zone for visitors to enjoy. There are also pub & lounge, camping facilities and more for visitors convenience.

Daejeon Saturday Festival guarantees five different fun including things to eat, things to see, things to enjoy, things to buy, and things to play. Held every Saturdays from 18:00-23:00, visitors can enjoy a night out at the market.

As of March 1, 2013, the center's name has been changed from Donggu Arts & Sports Center to Ayang Art Center.


Gwangju(Buk-gu)

Gwangju Culture & Art Center is located in the northeast of Gwangju-si and includes a range of representative cultural pieces from ancient times to the modern era. The Art Center is affiliated with several museums nearby including the Gwangju National Museum, Jungoe Park, the Municipal Folk Museum, and the Gwangju Museum of Art. The 4,145-pyeong / 13,700 square-meter center consists of a main stage for performance art, 10 practice rooms, 8 electrical rooms, an auditorium with 1,792 seats and over 600 pyeongs / 1,983 square meters of lobby space. The center, as a performance art hall complex, supports all types of art including opera, ballet, modern dance, theater, and Korean traditional opera. It is set amidst the beautiful Unamsan Mountain area and serves as a soothing getaway for urbanites.
