Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

A place that sells Dakgalbi (Spicy Stir-fried Chicken), or spicy chicken fried in a large pan, which is loved by Koreans. This restaurant's signature menu is spicy stir-fried chicken. This Korean dishes restaurant is located in Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do.


Seoul(Yeongdeungpo-gu)

Tourinn Harumi Guesthouse is a combination of Western-style and Korean-style rooms. All the 15 guestrooms in the 2-story building are for two, and the rooms are designed in the traditional Korean way including the interior and linens. All the rooms are furnished with a light fixture made of Korean paper with a lucky pouch, and the shared kitchen is also designed after the traditional Korean kitchen. To give the feel of an actual 'hanok (traditional Korean house),' the guesthouse serves homemade Korean food for breakfast complete with steamed rice, four side dishes, and soup. Western-style breakfast is also available. While the guesthouse is frequented by both Korean and foreign tourists, it's particularly popular among Japanese tourists. There are few major tourist destinations in the area, but nearby are a subway station and a bus stop where you can take the subway or bus to the Bamdokkaebi Night Market, Hongdae, Yeouido, and other trendy places in Seoul.


Jeollanam-do(Yeosu-si)

Harmony Motel located in Yeonsu Jeonnam, consists of seven floors. At a lobby, the toast and coffee are prepared for travelers. It is convenient for transportation, as it is 20-minute ride from Yeosu Terminal, Yeocheon station and Yeosu airport. Travelers can enjoy using the ferry to go to Geomundo, Baedo and Odongdo. There is the mud event only for women. Also, the sun-rise at Hyangilam is fantastic. In addition, Jeonnamgwan (remain of Admiral Lee) and Dolsan bridge. Yeosu's representative foods to eat, include Sliced raw Sole(Seodaehwoe), Dolsan Gatgimchi, soymarinated crab meal (called 'Ganjang Bekban'), grilled oyster (Gulguyee), Grilled Geumpungsaenyi.


Seoul(Seocho-gu)

This is an Agujjim delivery service restaurant located at Sinsa-dong Agujjim Alley. This Korean dishes restaurant is located in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The most famous menu is spicy braised monkfish.


Gwangju(Buk-gu)

Gwangju Biennale is an international contemporary art exhibition that takes place once every two years. Taking place in 2014, the event marks 10th anniversay and will celebrate the importance of being together though the theme of “Burning Down the House (터전을 불태우라).” It will bring together many different people, different times, various roles in arts production, and numerous different positions toward power such as exist  in various social, political, and cultural situations. The biennale consists of an exhibition, several workshops, e-journals, books, and various programs such as residency programs and new commissions. [About the 2014's theme] Burning Down the Houseexplores the process of burning and transformation, a cycle of obliteration and renewal witnessed throughout history. Evident in aesthetics, historical events, and an increasingly rapid course of redundancy and renewal in commercial culture, the Biennale reflects on this process of, often violent, events of destruction or self-destruction―burning the home one occupies―followed by the promise of the new and the hope for change. In the 1930s the critic Walter Benjamin coined the term ‘Tigersprung’ (the tiger’s leap) for a new model of history where the past is activated in and through the present within a culture industry that demands constant renewal. What can the ‘Tigerspung’ mean for today’s ‘tiger economies’ like South Korea in a context where economic and political powers deliver the eternally new of fashionable commodities and industrial progress at the apparent expense of a cultural past? Burning Down the House looks at the spiral of rejection and revitalization that this process implies. The theme highlights the capacity of art to critique the establishment through an exploration that includes the visual, sound, movement and dramatic performance. At the same time, it recognises the possibility and impossibility within art to deal directly and concretely with politics. The energy, the materiality and processes of burning ― the manner in which material is changed and destroyed by flames into the residue of dramatic interventions or remnants of celebrations ― have long informed artistic practice. Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

d.forest is the largest dog park in Korea at approximately 99,173 ㎡. It has various attractions to enjoy, together with visitor's pet dog, including museum, walking trails, playground and more. The museum focuses on the theme of human and dogs living in harmony. The museum provides pet waiting room for owners to enjoy the exhibition without distraction. Various walking trail courses are available with age and physical condition of the dog in mind. A large and small playground where dogs can play without leashes are available as well as a cafe with drinks for dogs, market and more.


Gyeonggi-do(Anseong-si)

A famous restaurant with 100 years’ tradition. This restaurant's signature menu is ox bone soup. This Korean dishes restaurant is located in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.


Jeollanam-do(Naju-si)

The area of Naju has long been at the forefront of the natural dyeing and silk production industry. The natural setting of fresh water from Yeongsangang River along with the salt water from the sea are perfect for growing the plants necessary for a deep indigo color. As such, it is the only area to be recognized for its natural dyeing (Important Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 115) by the Cultural Heritage Administration. The best place to experience this local heritage is at the Natural Dyeing Culture Center. The center offers experience programs and educational programs, as well as exhibitions and sales of naturally dyed products.


Jeollanam-do(Mokpo-si)

It is a place where you can enjoy soup dishes with various seafood. This Korean dishes restaurant is located in Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do. The most famous menu is spicy seafood stew.


Seoul(Gangnam-gu)

Tancheon Stream originates in Yongin-si, flowing through Seongnam-si and finally into the Hangang River. The stream is under the jurisdiction of the local government and has a 302㎢ drainage area and stretches 35.6km in length. Roughly 25km is located in the heart of Seongnam-si.
