Cheokpanam Hermitage was initially built in 673 by a monk named Wonhyo, whose legend is still passed down, and was restored in 1938 by another monk named Gyeongheo. Hani Lavender Farm was opened on a 33,000㎡ plot of land in 2006 by Ha Deok-ho, the "lavendar missionary." Mr. Ha originally operated an herb shop in Gyeonggi-do but moved to Goseong to grown his own lavendar for use in products. The area of the farm has the ideal condition for lavender to grow.


Gyeonggi-do(Uijeongbu-si)
