Everland Summer Splash, one of the main summer festivals in Everland, is held annually from June to August. The festival is packed with various programs like splash parades, fireworks and a 3D mapping show held at night, and a new themed garden, featuring more hands-on contents for visitors. 

Guwau Village (Taebaek, Gangwon-do) is host to the Taebaek Sunflower Festival, a celebration of the area’s wide array of colorful wildflowers and endless fields of sunflowers (the largest sunflower patch in Korea). The festival takes place in about a 661,157㎡ filled with 300 species of wild flowers along with a sunflower field walking path and other hands-on program with wild flowers. 

Jeonju Bibimbap Festival is an exciting food festival with the theme of Jeonju Bibimbap, one of the most recognizable local foods in Korea. This year’s festival, in particular, is hosted together with a variety of food events including Korea Food & Tourism Festival, International Fermented Food Expo, Jeonju Yakryeong Hanbang Expo, and Traditional Liquor Festival.The festival consists of fun programs: Mat (Delicious) Bibim, Heung (Fun) Bibim offering cultural performances as well as a food contest, Meot (Elegant) Bibim letting visitors experience food and other programs including a tour program to attractions in Hanok Village. Held in Jeonju, the festival offers the best of Bibimbap to both Korean and international tourists.

At the 2015 World Tulip Summit held at the Suncheon Bay Garden exhibition, Taean Tulips Festival was selected to be one of the world's top five tulip festivals, including America (Michigan, Holland), Canada (Ottawa), Japan (Honshu) and India (Kashmir). The advanced planting technique used is one of the biggest determinant factors that leads to the recognition. As part of the Creation of Living Palaces project, the Changdeokgung Palace Moonlight Tour offers a unique opportunity to witness and experience palatial beauty. The tour begins from the main gate, Donhwamun Gate (돈화문), and continues on for approximately two hours through Injeongjeon Hall (인정전), Nakseonjae (낙선재), and Huwon (후원, meaning "secret garden"). Seoul Bamdokkaebi Night Market is an event organized by the city of Seoul. Visitors to the night market, happening on Fridays and Saturdays from March to October, can enjoy foods from around the world, shop for unique handmade accessories, and watch various cultural performances.

The Christmas Fantasy festival at Everland runs for nearly two months. One of the highlights of the festival is the 26 meter tall romantic tower tree, boasting vibrant lights, which can be seen both inside and outside the park. From the entrance, visitors will be guided into the park by the 500-meter-long Christmas Avenue. 120,000 LED lights brilliantly light up the festival of "Romantic illumination." Popular rides and attractions including T-Express, Thunder Falls and the Lost Valley await visitors of all ages. Play in the holiday spirit to your hearts content.

Deoksugung Palace has held a guard-changing ceremony since 1996 after thorough historical research by leading historians. The ceremony, which is held in front of the Daehanmun Gate of Deoksugung Palace, is a tradition similar to the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace and offers a rare opportunity to experience royal culture. The royal gate is opened and closed at pre-determined times, and the gatekeepers in charge of guard duty and patrols hold a shift ceremony three times a day. Special Programs: The Royal Guard-Changing Ceremony is a highly recommended event for tourists. It is held three times a day (11:00 / 14:00 / 15:30) in front of Daehanmun Gate at Deoksugung Palace. As each ceremony follows the same procedure and lasts for thirty minutes, visitors can choose whichever time is most convenient. The ceremony is free of charge. There are no ceremonies on Mondays as well as on severely cold or hot days.As the ceremony begins, the changing of the guards commences replete with traditional musical instruments, and exchanges a password for verification. An eight-minute guard ceremony ensues, followed by a seven-minute change ceremony, and finally a patrol that completes the ceremony. The procedure takes a dramatic turn when 18 guards in six official positions beat a drum and bellow some orders. Major Highlights: The Royal Guard-Changing Ceremony is a great opportunity to experience a rare traditional scene. Be sure to bring a camera. The guards’ splendid costumes, with their brilliant primary colors, are a pleasure to view. While you cannot take pictures with the guards during the changing of guards, you can take a background picture of the guards and palace. You can also take photographs with the gatekeepers after the ceremony is over. Visit the palace and enjoy the beauty of Korean palaces following the ceremony.
