Jeonseojin district at Ara Incheon Passenger Terminal on Gyeongin Ara Waterway will hold the Jeongseojin Sunset Festival, an event open to all who wish to enjoy the glow of the setting sun on the western sea.The festival is held on December 31 and includes a pre-ceremony performance, countdown to the sunset, concerts, fireworks and more.

Asiana International Short Film Festival (AISFF) is the first and biggest international competitive short film festival. Over the years, it has received thousands of submissions from around the world, and screened hundreds of them. A highlight of the AISFF is the "In The Air" program, which determines films to play on Asiana Airlines flights. Furthermore, AISFF has established a fund to support short film production and industry leader development.

Arirang is a national folk song that was created by a warrior monk during the Imjin War. The song expresses the principles and faithfulness of the Korean people under Sung Confucianism. There are many varieties of the song throughout each region, with changes happening continually over time. Miryang Arirang Festival celebrates this important intangible heritage through many programs and performances. Visitors can experience both the similarities and differences of the three major styles of Arirang (Miryang Arirang, Jeongseon Arirang, Jindo Arirang).

Arts Council Korea is to host 2016 ARKO Contemporary Orchestra Music Festival for Yangak (Western music) on January 26, 2016 at 20:00 at Concert Hall of Seoul Arts Center, lead by Choi Suyeol and played by Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra. ARKO Contemporary Orchestra Music Festival (a.k.a. Achangje) tries to find up-to-date art pieces reflecting Korean composer’s innovative creativity and plays a big role in creative Korean music. First performed through Achangje, the performances are again performed at other locations nationally and internationally, including European countries.These music pieces are sure to be cherished for many years by audiences. The National Folk Museum of Korea will host an event in celebration of Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day), featuring abundant hands-on programs, exhibitions, and performance perfect for enjoying Chuseok with full of joy. The event prepares 44 different programs including seasonal customs, folk games, traditional art programs, various folk performances and more, to make a special and memorable Chuseok holiday.

Seogwipo Chilsimni was originally was the name of a 27 km strip of land from Seongeup Village to Seogwipo Harbor in Jeju Island. However, over the years it has come to mean “homeland” for Jeju citizens. The Seogwipo area is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in Jeju due to its beautiful ocean landscapes.The festival’s program includes folk performances rooted in Jeju’s history, legends, and natural environment. There are also a variety of ocean sports activities, which are very popular with visitors.

Seosan Chrysanthemum Festival takes place at in apple orchard in Gagu-ri, Gobuk-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. The festival grounds are decorated with color chrysanthemum exhibitions amidst bright red apples. Visitors can enjoy taking photos of the fully blooming flowers and ripe apples at this festival full of the scent of autumn.
