Seowon Valley Green Concert is a social awareness event that aims to create a company culture that restores society through the business profits. They also hope to improve the lives of people lacking in the area through the sponsorship of members and events, as well as using the popularization of golf to create a cultural space that can be used by both general citizens as well as golf club members.

Seoul Culture Night is one of major summer festival held at nighttime, featuring Seoul’s nature, culture and architecture for visitors including Seoul residents and tourists. Gimje Horizon Festival, held from late September to early October every year since 1999, takes place at Byeokgolje Reservoir, which is the heart of the Honam rice bowl. The festival aims to show the importance of Korea’s farming culture, which is a foundation of the nation, with the theme of sky and land meeting at the horizon. The festival also aims to promote the regional image and economy. Many dynamic and active programs are available for festival-goers to participate in before the golden horizon.Byeokgolje, the largest irrigation facility in the world, built 1,700 years ago during Baekje (King Biryu, 330), is embraced by the city of Gimje. Thanks to Byeokgolje, the area of Gimje is the birth place of Korea’s rice farming and agricultural culture. During the Baekje period, it was called ‘Byeokgolgun’ (a village of rice) which came from the fact that this area was the first area to start rice farming.During the festival, domestic and overseas visitors can take part in various hands-on programs feeling Korean farming culture in Byeokgolje (Historic Site No. 111). Visitors of all ages can easily take part in these programs to educate, inspire, and enjoy with a theme of spacious plains to the horizon. Events include kite-flying, rice-farming, catching grasshoppers, Korea Straw and Plants handicraft, making rice over an open fire, and other activities to entertain visitors.

The annual music festival, Tongyeong International Music Festival (TIMF), is held Tongyeong-si under the various themes every year. The festival aims to select the musics that will be viewed to bridging the gap between art and audience, and among audiences. The festival presents official performances as well as side events that are relating to embracing muscial diversity, such as children's song competition, fringe performances, and workshops.

DDP Citizen’s Festival will be held to improve Dongdaemun’s image and activate the regional economy as a representative festival of Dongdaemun area. The festival includes a ceremony for a public ambassador, performances, exhibitions, hands-on programs, street art performances, an international food event, and many other programs. Visitors of all ages are welcome to take part in this open festival. The festival aims to build DDP’s own identification as the top place regarding design and creative knowledge.

Gamcheon Culture Village Street Festival is an annual event organized entirely by the local residents, from the planning stage to the operation. The festival offers a variety of new and exciting performances and cultural arts for visitors to enjoy. Gamcheon Culture Village was formed after the Korean war, when many refugees settled in the area, building houses one on top of the other. The area is now famous for its multi-colored roofs, maze-like streets, and the beautiful murals decorating the walls of each house. Festival programs include an alley tour, hands-on experiences to get to know the joys and sorrows of the village's history, and explanations on over 40 cultural art pieces throughout the village. Wandering through the streets and alleys, you will get to know the hidden stories of the grandfathers and grandmothers living here. Small performances will take place on the rooftops above, adding a lively feel to this unique festival.

The Jeju Hueree Maehwa Festival takes place at the Hueree Natural Park (휴애리 자연생활공원) from late February to early March every year. Maehwa is the Korean word for apricot flowers, and the flowers signal the changing of the season. The blossoming of the Maehwa flowers is celebrated at the earliest time in Korea through this festival. The festival also features various fun activities such as the apricot flower photo contest, black pig show and goose show.

The Yeosu Geobukseon Ship Festival, which takes place around Yi Sun-shin Square, provides an opportunity for locals and tourists to come together and enjoy a range of hands-on programs. In addition to the variety of traditional performances and ceremonies, main events include the Geobukseon Ship-drying event, a drawing contest, and a one-night, two-day historical tour program for teens. Yet another crowd-pleaser is the Yeosu International Fireworks Competition, a brilliant display held against the backdrop of the vast sea in front of Yi Sun-shin Square. Visitors can take home part of the magic by purchasing local products at discounted prices at the festival marketplace.

Ganggyeong Salted Seafood Festival is known for its freshest and finest quality, which is made with recipes handed down from from generation to generation, retaining the unique, authentic taste of salted fermented fish.All the ingredients are imported directly and prepared in modern facilities. Today, the market accounts for half of the nation’s total sales of salted seafood.The Ganggyeong Festival has grown to become a major industrial festival in Korea, and originally started off in an effort to boost local economy and enhance the fish market merchants’ incomes in 1997 when the IMF financial crisis hit the nation. Salted fish merchants made the festival in a large-scale, getting bigger and better each year.Especially since 2007, the festival has changed its official title to Ganggyeong Fermented Seafood Festival. The festival has in the spotlight and has now established itself as a healthy fermented food item in the world food market, breaking away from the notion of being simply salted, preserved food.
