Featuring history, culture, and evergreen bamboo tree forests as a clean and ecological city, Damyang holds Namdo Food Festival in the area of Damyang Stadium in front of Juknokwon. This festival introduces a food exhibition hall that comprises of a variety of representative food in Namdo, and an event offering various healthy foods. Other events include parades, food contests, sampling, agricultural products sales market, food ingredients hall, food market and cultural art performances alike to entertain visitors.

Introduction E-World Starlight Festival is held with ten million lights in an area of 120,000 pyeong around E-World and 83 Tower. Hot-air balloons, roses, and masks light decorations and other events will catch people’s eyes at this carnival-like festival. The events start at night and large characteristic trees are decorated along the 200m Light Road, as well as a Umbrella Road, Carnival Road, and photo zone created by 1,000 lights. Also, 10,000 LED roses cover the proposal stairs, creating a romantic and special ambience. This festival is beloved by young couples as part of a night dating course. The Mindungsan Eulalia Festival takes place in the Mindungsan Mountain area. Some of the events held include weekend mountain climbing, talent contests, Arirang singing contests, eulalia music concerts, a Mindungsan Gate ball competition and eulalia photo exhibition. Hands-on programs at the festival include a local food program, post card sending, mountain horseback riding and much more!

Gwangju Toechon Tomato Festival takes place in Toechon, which has been growing tomatoes since the 1970s. In addition to programs and performances involving tomatoes, the festival will feature the famous Tomato Well-Being Food Tasting & Exhibition.

Unlike Spanish bullfights, in which a matador faces the bull, the Korean version of bullfighting has two bulls fighting against each other. Spectators shout enthusiastically as these powerful animals fight to win by pushing and goring their opponent. In addition to the Nationwide Bulls Championship Title Match, which is the main event, there will also be a program featuring a variety of pet animals and a cattle show as well as the photo exhibits. Festival Highlights: Jeongeup ranch and farm products are renowned for their high quality. Located near the bullfighting arena, a promotional pavilion and market sell Jeongeup’s hanu beef, and visitors can purchase high quality beef at inexpensive prices. Visitors will enjoy the festival’s ambience in the evening too when there will be a campfire and fireworks display.
