A unique flea market full of artistic flavors is coming to one of Seoul's most renowned attractions at Seoul's fortress trail near Jangchung Gymnasium. This neighborhood boasts a fantastic city view over Korea's capital city, and holds a valuable heritage and history dating back over 600 years. Visitors to this place will learn both modern and historical aspects of the city through casual hiking along the trails, as well as browsing and experiencing the locals' many talents and inspirations.  The event will cover an area of over 1,000 square meters, starting from Jangchung Park and Shilla Hotel in the Namsan area. People interested in the arts, performances, and other related exhibitions will be able to enjoy all of the programs along with natural attractions available at the venue. Visitors will also have a chance to try wooden crafts and art programs using traditional Korea paper, called hanji.

Hangang Summer Festival (or Hangang Mongttang Festival) is the largest riverside culture festival held annual, enjoyed by visitors and citizens of Seoul alike. Programs are organized by the Hangang Project Headquarters of the Seoul Metropolitan Government in cooperation with various civic organizations, transforming the Hangang River into a joy-filled playground. Activities found at the event grounds and participating organizations span a wide variety of sectors, including: camping, water leisure sports, concerts, film screenings, street festivals, cycling, paper boat racing, fire art, and traditional art performances.

Seoul International Book Fair

The first Seoul International Book Fair was launched in 1995, the 50th anniversary of Korean Independence Day, in the presence of former President Kim Young Sam and then President of International Publishers Association, Fernano Guedes. It is held annually by Korea Publishers Association in order to promote Korean publications abroad, to strengthen the competitiveness of the publishing industry, to promote reading among the public, and to allow the public to enjoy diverse cultures through literature.
