Haemi Eupseong Traditional Cultural Performance

Haemi Eupseong Traditional Cultural Performance is held every year at Haemi Eupseong, a representative fortress of the Joseon Dynasty, which was selected as one of the "100 tourist spots the Korean people must go" in 2015 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. One of Korea's best performances, this event presents a variety of spectacles to domestic and foreign tourists. The event consists of a series of Korean traditional performances which might be unfamiliar but certainly interesting to the contemporary people. The historical importance of the fortress adds value and meaning to the event.

Namwon Newly-appointed Governor’s Procession

Namwon Newly-appointed Governor’s Procession is a fusion performance about the parade for celebrating the appointment of Byeon Hak-do as Namwon governor in the story of Chunhyang, set in Gwanghallu Garden, one of Namwon’s representative cultural resource. The event connected to Gwanghallu Garden and the Chunhayng Theme Park takes place from April to November every year, giving various spectacles and activities to visitors. The parade starts from the Plaza of Love and ends at Gwanghallu Garden, where various shows such as Gisaeng Jeomgo, military processional music performance, Yukbang performance, and a fan dance by gisaeng (female entertainers) are performed. In addition, fun activities like experiencing the punishment of the Joseon Dynasty, folk games, and a photo event are arranged for visitors. This performance has been designated as a Standing Cultural Tourism Program for nine consecutive years since 2007.

Sabi, current day Buyeo, was declared as a capital city of Baekje by the King Seong (r. 523-554), the 26th ruler of Baekjae. Since then, Sabi remained as the center of cultural abundance for 123 years, and currently holds the most historical artifacts and remains from the Baekje period, including the 52 designated national cultural assets, 3 registered cultural assets, and 57 cultural assets designated by the province. The Sabi Hertiage Night tour takes visitors on a journey of time through UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Gwanbuk-ri Relics and Busosanseong Fortress of Buyeo, Jeongnimsaji Temple Site, Buyeo Neungsan-ri Ancient Tombs, Buyeo Naseong Fortress, etc.

The fashion show also contributes in creating job opportunities by supporting over 100 youths who dream to become a model. Candidates selected to model for Seoul 365 Fashion Show receive professional model training and will be able to explore diverse career opportunities.
