Namwon Chunhyang Festival is thought to be one of the best traditional festivals in Korea and famous performance art festival for two consecutive years, selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The festival is annually held to commemorate Chunhyang’s continual devotion with Lee Mongryong despite all the trials and hard situations she endured, based on the famous Korean love story, Chunhyangjeon.

The Garden of Morning Calm Korean Wild Flower Exhibition 2013 showcases 300 kinds of wild flowers that signals the start of the spring season. At the outdoor and indoor gardens, visitors can find rare wild flowers or alpine flora from different regions of the Korean peninsula such as Hallasan Mountain in Jejudo Island, Baekdusan Mountain between North Korea and China, Ulleungdo Island, etc.

The Busan Sea Festival was first held in 1996. The festival takes place at Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli Beach, Songdo Beach, Dadaepo Beach, Songjeong Beach, and at other places in Busan. NANTA is a top non-verbal cooking performance show about four chefs who must prepare a wedding banquet in just one hour. The plot is depicted through various genres of performances, including percussion that uses kitchen utensils to make beats based on traditional rhythms of samulnori (traditional percussion quartet). The entire show has no spoken dialogue, yet plenty of comedy and romance, too. Meanwhile, since its debut in October 1997, NANTA (also known as Cookin') has earned international acclaim, being staged on Broadway and at other famous venues worldwide.

KBS has dropped the first teaser for 2019 KBS Song Festival! The event, which for the first time will be held at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) in Ilsan, has been confirmed for December 27 at 7:50 p.m. KST, and the first lineup of artists includes BTS, GOT7, ITZY, MONSTA X, TWICE, NU’EST, Red Velvet, and SEVENTEEN.
