Designed to promote Korean films, Daejong Film Festival is the oldest film award ceremony in Korea and the only film award program hosted by the government. The festival screens and honors many of the past year’s movies and provides a weeklong opportunity for the public to enjoy nominated selections free-of-charge. Each year’s winners are selected based on opinions of festival-goers and film experts. Jeonseojin district at Ara Incheon Passenger Terminal on Gyeongin Ara Waterway will hold the Jeongseojin Sunset Festival, an event open to all who wish to enjoy the glow of the setting sun on the western sea.The festival is held on December 31 and includes a pre-ceremony performance, countdown to the sunset, concerts, fireworks and more.

A unique flea market full of artistic flavors is coming to one of Seoul's most renowned attractions at Seoul's fortress trail near Jangchung Gymnasium. This neighborhood boasts a fantastic city view over Korea's capital city, and holds a valuable heritage and history dating back over 600 years. Visitors to this place will learn both modern and historical aspects of the city through casual hiking along the trails, as well as browsing and experiencing the locals' many talents and inspirations.  The event will cover an area of over 1,000 square meters, starting from Jangchung Park and Shilla Hotel in the Namsan area. People interested in the arts, performances, and other related exhibitions will be able to enjoy all of the programs along with natural attractions available at the venue. Visitors will also have a chance to try wooden crafts and art programs using traditional Korea paper, called hanji.

Taean F Festival is a flower festival held annually in the Sinon-ri area in Nam-myeon. During the festival, various cultural events and flower markets are held against the backdrop of beautiful flowers. Taean F Festival holds a themed festival for each season: tulips in spring, lilies in summer, lights in winter, and autumn flowers in fall. During the lily festival in summer, the venue is covered with lilies in shades of white, yellow, plum and red. The lake in the middle of the venue will be decorated in the theme of “Byeoljubu” (traditional Korean story of the Turtle and the Rabbit). There will be rabbit village to the left, a tortoise village to the right, and a character village on the perimeter of the venue. Hands-on programs such as feeding animals, making cookies, making soap bubbles, and making masks and face painting are also available.

The first in Asia, started as the International Comedy Festival in 2013, it is now known as the Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF) and is noted for developing comedy cultural contents, introducing both Korean and famous international comedians from abroad.  Regardless of gender and ages, the comedy festival is open to anyone to enjoy and have fun laughing throughout the funny acts presented by the comedians. The audience also get to be actively involve with the artistes through the performances and programs presented at this globally diverse international comedy festival. In addition, a comedy open concert will also be hosted for free to allow all visitors to enjoy comedies of international level quality. 

Icheon has been a valuable city for ceramic arts since originating in the Bronze Age. It was designated as a “City of Crafts and Folk Art" on the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2010. Here visitors can see a variety of Korea's finest ceramics such as Cheongja (celadon porcelain), Baekja (white porcelain), and Buncheongsagi (grayish-blue powdered celadon). The festival is Korea's largest ceramic culture festival.

Korean World Travel Fair, Korea’s longest and most reliable travel fair, will take place. This festival is the first Paleolithic cultural event in Korea, and provides a great opportunity for international visitors to discover Korea’s prehistoric cultures. Moreover, this festival will be a great event for families, since children can learn about paleolithic cultures, farming village lifestyles, and take part in traditional cultural programs.

The Korea Travel Expo is a gathering of Korean regional tourism organizations, as well as travel aficionados from all over the world. It is held annually in order to help increase the national tourism volume, information exchanges, travel service quality, and local economies.The Korea Travel Expo will showcase arts and culture that can be found while traveling across Korea, and also introduce various travel packages, including island, and educational trips.

Suncheon Bay is a treasury of nature, comprised of both flatlands and reed fields. Varying by seasons, visitors can expect different types of nature scenes. Migratory birds soaring through the skies in spring, mudskippers and mud flats in summer, turkey and reeds in fall, as well as, the rare hooded cranes in winter – about 200 species of migratory birds can be seen at this ecological tourism spot in Korea.
