Gyeongpo Cherry Blossom Festival takes place at the center of Gyeongpodae Pavilion, the 6th regional tangible cultural treasure of Korea, when cherry blossoms on trees on the 4.3㎞ path around Gyeongpoho Lake are in full bloom. The 2013 Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from April 12 to 14 at Gyeongju City's three most beautiful sites for viewing cherry blossoms: Bomun Lake Resort (경주 보문관광단지), Dongbu Historic Complex (동부사적지), and Heungmu Park & Geumjangdae (흥무공원, 금성대). Each area will have a variety of events and programs, including musical performances, traditional wedding ceremonies, and photo contests.

Lotte World Christmas Festival

Lotte Word Christmas Festival will be held from November 12 to December 31 with ‘Happy Christmas Festival’ taking on a “White Christmas” theme. Visitors can see Christmas decorations hung everywhere at the festival site, as well as a snowman photo zone at the Santa Village. During the festival, snow can be seen twice a day at the Adventure Park and during the Christmas Parade. NANTA is a top non-verbal cooking performance show about four chefs who must prepare a wedding banquet in just one hour. The plot is depicted through various genres of performances, including percussion that uses kitchen utensils to make beats based on traditional rhythms of samulnori (traditional percussion quartet). The entire show has no spoken dialogue, yet plenty of comedy and romance, too. Meanwhile, since its debut in October 1997, NANTA (also known as Cookin') has earned international acclaim, being staged on Broadway and at other famous venues worldwide.

The 2019 KBS Song Festival (Gayo Daechukje) Announces Star-Studded First Lineup

KBS has dropped the first teaser for 2019 KBS Song Festival! The event, which for the first time will be held at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) in Ilsan, has been confirmed for December 27 at 7:50 p.m. KST, and the first lineup of artists includes BTS, GOT7, ITZY, MONSTA X, TWICE, NU’EST, Red Velvet, and SEVENTEEN.
