Hwacheon Tomato Festival
Gangwon-do(Hwacheon-gun)

The Hwacheon Tomato Festival is held annually for consecutive four days, an extension from the usual three-days event held previously, based on opinions of tourists and residents. This festival will be held in Sanae-myeon in Hawcheon-gun. Starting off with an opening ceremony, followed by pungmulnori (traditional percussion music & dance), singing contest, unique exciting events and various hands-on programs.

Grand K-POP Festival
Seoul(Songpa-gu) , Jamsil(Lotte World)

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea (MCST) and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) are hosting a large-scale Hallyu concert for international visitors in a bid to promote Korea Grand Sale, which is running from August 14 to October 31, 2015.Visitors can see top K-pop stars, including Girls' Generation, CN Blue and Beast performing on a single stage, as well as sample traditional Korean hansik dishes and try on traditional Korean hanbok clothes.

Yeongam Wangin Culture Festival
Jeollanam-do(Yeongam-gun)

This festival celebrates the achievements of Korea’s Dr. Wangin, who travelled to Japan over 1,600 years ago to spread knowledge culture and art. His teachings included the Thousand-Character Text (a primer of Chinese Characters) and the Analects (Discourses) of Confucius. Wangin taught writing composition to the Japanese and developed the foundations of education, which greatly influenced all areas of study, including social science, politics, economics, culture, and art. This festival is set in the beautiful landscape of Wolchulsan National Park and Dr Wangin’s achievements are celebrated with various performances and cultural events. The festival takes place in April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Gyeryong Military Culture Festival

Gyeryong Military Culture Festival held in Gyeryong-si, Chungcheongnam-do where tri-service military is located, features one of the nation’s most representative festivals, attracting about 900,000 visitors each year. The festival is considered to be unique as it deals with a military culture. It offers fantastic air shows, various military gear experiences such as repel, military’s zip-line, helicopter, armored car, and other devices, as well as martial music performance, other cultural art performances and events for visitors. Simultaneously, the Army Festival is also held during the Gyeryong Military Culture Festival and thus, visitors can enjoy both festivals at the same time.

Cheongpunghoban Cherry Blossom Festival

Cheongpungho Cherry Blossom Festival is held in the Cheongpung Lake are of Jecheon when varied spring flowers such as white cherry blossom, forsythia and azalea are in full bloom. Visitors can enjoy exhibitions, performances as well as other activities like bungee jumping operated by Cheongpungho Lake, and water sports and leisure all in one spot. Korea Science Festival

Ganjeolgot Sunrise Festival

Ganjeolgot Cape in Ulsan offers visitors impressive views of the sunrise and is part of the New Year’s Sunrise Festival every December. The festival starts at sunset on the 31st with cultural events followed by a year-end concert. In addition, fireworks displays, enjoying tteokguk (traditional Korean new years dish) and a wide range of performances fill the evening and last through the night. Streets of Seoul transform into runways and people of Seoul gather as models to showcase a variety of stylish outfits. Seoul 365 Fashion Show aims to close the gap between fashion and the general public by encouraging the community to actively participate and enjoy this multi-cultural fashion project. The fashion show also contributes in creating job opportunities by supporting over 100 youths who dream to become a model. Candidates selected to model for Seoul 365 Fashion Show receive professional model training and will be able to explore diverse career opportunities.
