Busan International Motor Show introduces about 250 new-released cars from 250 international brands from over the world. Various subsidiary events will be held with new, eco-friendly, and themed concept cars for all of visitors.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Hamyang-gun)

Hamyang Ginseng Festival is held at Hamyangsangrim Forest, Natural Monument No. 154. The area of Hamyang stretches across Jirisan Mountain and Deokusan Mountain and features high quality wild ginseng and herbs that bring many domestic and overseas visitors to the area. This healthy well-being festival helps to promote and distribute wild ginseng and herbs produced in Hamyang. .


Gyeonggi-do(Gwangju-si)

Gwangju Toechon Tomato Festival takes place in Toechon, which has been growing tomatoes since the 1970s. In addition to programs and performances involving tomatoes, the festival will feature the famous Tomato Well-Being Food Tasting & Exhibition.


Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Mohang Port, which is famous for haesam (sea cucumber), is the venue for the Taean Mohang Port Marine Product Festival. Various marine product-themed activities such as a haesam symposium, catching fish with bare hands, and releasing fish into the water will be taking place during the festival.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Geochang-gun)

The Geochang International Festival of Theatre, which opens every year with topics of nature, man, and drama, can be enjoyed in the beautiful valleys of Susengdae during the day and under the midnight stars at night. The festival is one of the many that are succesfully held by the local self-governing organizations. Uljin Geumgang Songi Mushroom Festival is a local landmark celebration that offers lots of local gourmet food and things to see and enjoy. The festival will take place at Wangpicheon Expo Park area. During the festival period, over 20 events are held including the opening ceremony, congratulatory performance, Uljin Geumgang Songi Mushroom food contest, Songi mushroom farmers’ market, Best Songi Mushroom Show, Songi Auction, and Free Songi Mushroom Sampling Event. Family-oriented hands-on experience programs include collecting Songi mushrooms, FAM tour to Geumgangsong pine trees, and harvesting yams. You may also sample traditional liquor, tea and food for free as part of the festival activities.


Gangwon-do(Hongcheon-gun)

Hongcheon Ginseng Hanu Myeongpum Festival is held annually in early October in the city of Hongcheon. The natural clean air and water help this area to have excellent quality ginseng and hanu (Korean beef), for which it is famous. Inside the festival venue is a self-serve restaurant for visitors to try Hongcheon hanu, and visitors can also purchase six-year aged ginseng at a discounted price. In addition, Hongcheon Narakkot Mugunghwa Festival is held at the same period, giving tourists the chance to partake in diverse programs. Nearby attractions include Hongcheon Gingko tree forest, opened only for a short time each year in early October and selected as the best area for healing.


Chungcheongnam-do(Dangjin-si)

The Dangjin Waemok Village Sunrise Festival takes place in Waemok Village located in Dangjin-si, Chungcheongnam-do. The place itself is regarded as one of the top three sunrise viewing spots in Korea. Around 100,000 people visit the festival every year to see the simple and poetic sunrise. Starting in the afternoon of December 31, various sunrise events will begin, including tourist singing contests, celebrity guest performances, a New Year’s countdown, and burning daljip (brushwood) to make a wish. When the new year begins, visitors can take in the sunrise and warm up with some tteokguk (sliced rice cake soup) at the end of the festival.
