Sangju Story Festival
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Sangju-si)

Sangju-si in Gyeongsangbuk-do is known as Gamgoeul (literally "persimmon village") since it exports a large quantity of persimmons annually. Naturally, there are many local stories related to the fruit. Every autumn as persimmons ripen, the city holds a festival to celebrate its specialty and to continue the tradition of telling its Gamgoeul stories. The Sanju Gamgoeul Story Festival puts on major programs, including an opening ceremony, performances, and various hands-on experience programs.

Pyeongchang Gondeure
Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

Pyeongchang Cirsium Setidens Festival is held every year in May in Sanchae Village, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do Province. Visitors can pick their own cirsium setidents along with other wild greens on nearby mountains and try various kinds of food made from wild greens at the festival venue. Other hands-on programs include making rice cakes and catching trout or marsh snails.

Inje Icefish Festival (인제 빙어축제)

Inje Icefish Festival will be held at Soyangho Lake in Inje. At this spectacular winter festival visitors will be able to try out ice fishing and exciting games such as human bowling on ice, ice soccer, and even a tug-of-war on ice. For those icefish fanatics there will be an icefish eating competition, and visitors can sample the icefish for free.

K-POP Camp
Seoul(Mapo-gu)

K-POP CAMP offers dance and vocal courses, along with audition processing courses where the participants can create portfolio of their own and participate in the auditions. The camp options include sessions that last either 2, 4 or 6 weeks. K-POP CAMP will be with Hongdae KMC Music Academy and T.I.P Dance Academy. Anyone who loves K-POP music are welcomed!

Jeongwol Daeboreum Event of Korean Folk Village
Gyeonggi-do(Yongin-si)

Jeongwol Daeboreum falls on January 15 each year on the lunar calendar, and always takes places on the full moon. It is the brightest moon of the year, and a day for telling fortunes and a national holiday in Korea. The Korean Folk Village plans a special Jeongwol Daeboreum event each year to celebrate. The event features traditional Daeboreum activities including burning daljip (brushwood), Jangseungje ceremony, Byeotgaritdae seugi (making a stack of rice straw), Jisinbapgi and Gilnori, sharing Boreum food and special performances like Bukcheong Saja Noreum (play about lions), juldarigi (tug-of-war) and more. Yeosu Hyangiram Sunrise Festival

Hyangiram Sunrise Festival is an annual overnight festival that begins on New Year's Eve. It takes place at the historic Hyangiram Hermitage, which was built in year 644. As the New Year's Day dawns, visitors can witness the sun rise above the horizon from Hyangiram, which literally means "a hermitage facing the sun."

Hongseong Historical Person Festival
Chungcheongnam-do(Hongseong-gun)

Having modified its name from Hongseong Naepo Culture Festival, Hongseong Historical Person Festival is held in Hongjueupseong Fortress every September, with the aim of become an educational festival. Hongseong is the hometown of many historical persons in the areas of literature, martial arts and art such as General Choe Yeong, a great commander during the Goryeo period, Seong Sam-mun, a scholar-official of the early Joseon era, General Kim Jwa-jin, who won the Battle of Cheongsanni against Japan, Han Yong-un, who was a resistance fighter to Japanese influence with his fidelity and integrity, Han Seong-jun, a folk dancer, and Lee Ung-no, who established Korean painting’s creativity and identity. The festival offers historical person-related programs that include themed performances, histories of the persons, and their life story, giving a unique experience. Excellent local food from Hongseong can also be eaten at the festival site.

Ultra Music Festival Korea

Seoul Independent Film Festival

The Seoul Independent Movie Festival is jointly held by the Korean Film Council and the Association of Korean Independent Film & Video.
