Traditional Folk Games Event of Andong Folk Museum

Andong Folk Museum holds a Traditional Folk Game Event each year to greet Lunar New Year's Day for tourists and visitors returning to their hometown. During the event, visitors can revisit local history through watching traditional folk plays, and make New Year's resolutions. Traditional activities offered include yutnori, neolttwigi (seesaw jumping), jegichagi (Korean hacky sack), kite-flying, paengichigi (top-spinning) and tohu (arrow throwing), rolling a hoop, geunettwigi (traditional swing), and skipping rope.

Healing Music Festival

Healing Music Festival first began in 2008 with a theme of abundant and relaxing music meeting nature. This year, the festival will be held in Imjingak Pyeonghwa-Nuri Park. Around 20 domestic and overseas musicians who are noted for their healing music are invited. Along with the healing music stage, a “Healing Playground” featuring treatment of mind and body through artistic programs will be offered. Busan Port Festival

Busan Port Festival has been held annually since 2008 to introduce one of the five top ports in the word, Busan Port, and offer a variety of programs, combined with Busan port-related industry, culture and education. One of the outstanding programs featured at the festival is the Busan Port Tour, in which visitors get on a ship to see North Port. Another popular program is the Embarkment Experience that displays a naval vessel and marine police vessel, both of which are rare to see. Busan Port Parade offers a dynamic performance and music, and Busan Port Stamp Tour is available to enjoy various exhibitions and hands-on programs at the National Maritime Museum and other festival facilities.
