Bastille Day

FKCCI Bastille Day event is one of the chamber’s biggest annual events. Bastille Day is the name given in English-speaking countries to the French National Day, which is celebrated on the 14th of July every year. In France, it is formally called La Fête Nationale (The National Celebration) and commonly le Quatorze Juillet. This cultural event represents the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille fortress-prison, which is seen as a symbol of the end of the constitutional monarchy that preceded the First Republic during the French Revolution. Festivities in France begin with a big parade held on the morning of July 14th on the Champs-Élysées avenue in Paris, which is attended by the president of france and broadcast on television. Other programs include a VIP garden party at the Elysée and the final bouquet of fireworks all around the Eiffel Tower. In celebration of this national holiday, the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Embassy of France in Korea organize an annual party. The result is a festival of over 500 people celebrating Bastille Day in a joyful and vibrant atmosphere. It is a day for people of all ages to come and enjoy France and French culture in Korea. C-Festival

Bukchon Music Festival

Bukchon Music Festival aims to showcase various contemporary music genres including world music, jazz, classic, and indie music, centered on Korean traditional music in the area of Bukchon in Seoul. The festival is a music festival carrying out varied artistic attempts to break the barrier between traditional and contemporary art. About 20 artistic teams from different genres will play their love songs along the streets of Bukchon, so passersby can enjoy listening to the music for free if they like the song. Ultra Music Festival Korea

Samcheonggak Premium Lunch Concert - JAMI

JAMI, which means "good food with a lot of nutrition" in Chinese characters or "fun" in Jeju dialect, is a premier lunch concert involving gugak (traditional music) performances, followed by a 6-course meal over the course of an hour and 30 minutes. The concert features pansori (traditional narrative singing), traditional dance, as well as performances by the all-female gugak ensemble, Cheongarang, while the lunch serves galbijjim (braised short ribs) on Mondays, salmon bibimbap on Tuesdays, and bulgogi deopbap (rice topped with marinated beef) on Wednesdays. Moreover, audience members may submit a birthday song request for their special occasion.

Seoul National Cemetery Event with Weeping Cherry Blossoms
