"Korea Sale Festa" is the first global shopping tourism festival in Korea. Events, special offers, and Hallyu festivals will be available for everyone to enjoy, including international visitors. The festival originated from 2015 "Korea Black Friday" and further developed with the cooperation of the government, distributors, manufacturers, tourism and culture industries.

FKCCI Bastille Day event is one of the chamber’s biggest annual events. Bastille Day is the name given in English-speaking countries to the French National Day, which is celebrated on the 14th of July every year. In France, it is formally called La Fête Nationale (The National Celebration) and commonly le Quatorze Juillet. This cultural event represents the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille fortress-prison, which is seen as a symbol of the end of the constitutional monarchy that preceded the First Republic during the French Revolution. Festivities in France begin with a big parade held on the morning of July 14th on the Champs-Élysées avenue in Paris, which is attended by the president of france and broadcast on television. Other programs include a VIP garden party at the Elysée and the final bouquet of fireworks all around the Eiffel Tower. In celebration of this national holiday, the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Embassy of France in Korea organize an annual party. The result is a festival of over 500 people celebrating Bastille Day in a joyful and vibrant atmosphere. It is a day for people of all ages to come and enjoy France and French culture in Korea. Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

A traditional tea ceremony experience will take place at Jagyeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung every Saturday and Sunday from mid May to mid October, 2014.The ceremony includes a tea culture demonstration and experience, making honey cakes, traditional etiquette introduction, and lectures related to tea culture. To participate in the tea ceremony, download the application form from the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation website and submit the form through email.


Gyeonggi-do(Yongin-si)

The best cultural theme park in the nation, the Korean Folk Village is hosting the '2016 Welcome to Joseon' Korean Folk Village Joseon Live Variety Festival from April 9 to June 12, 2016. It is the most representative spring festival of the Korean Folk Village and this year in particular, new parades have been added, along with upgraded version of the 'Fusion Madanggeuk: Birthday party of the Governor' will be held.  With a record of 1 million views on their highlight act featuring the 'flower beggar', 'merchant', 'gisaeng,' and new characters selected from the 'Joseon Characters Audition 3', a total of 22 actors will be seen performing in the acts. With Joseon dynasty as background, visitors may time travel back into a fantasy world with the characters in a interesting and real comedy act.  Besides, a variety of traditional and fun experiences including 'Traditional Costume Experience', making of mapae (transportation card used in the Joseon era), hopa (identity card) and fragrance pouch are also available for all visitors regardless of age and gender. 


Gyeonggi-do(Bucheon-si) , Bucheon

The Wonmisan Mountain Azalea Festival will be held from April 12 to 14 at Wonmisan Mountain and the surrounding areas. While enjoying the sight of azalea flowers, visitors can participate in various hands-on programs and events.


Jeollanam-do(Gwangyang-si)

Gwangyang International Maehwa Festival takes place in Seomjin Village, home of the largest number of plum blossom trees in Korea. During the festival period, visitors can enjoy a walk beneath the plum blossoms, and also sample and purchase local organic plum products.

Namsangol Taekwondo Outdoor Performance staged with the background of Namsangol Hanok village, one of Seoul's top tourist destinations maintaining the unique sense of the traditional Korean culture in the center of the city, presents a lot of spectacles and activities related to taekwondo, one of the world's beloved sports. The performance introduces taekwondo, the pride of Korean people, to tourists and gives them a variety of opportunities to experience the sport, everyday except Tuesdays from May to October. The Centum Beer Festival, sponsored and managed by the Centum Beer Festival Committee and MICErang is is held in Busan’s KNN Centum Plaza every summer. The festival offers diverse snacks and free flow of beer for all of visitors to enjoy its cultural event during the festival.


Gyeonggi-do(Ansan-si)

Ansan Street Arts Festival, Korea’s largest street arts festival, will be held at Ansan Culture Square in Ansan. This festival is considered one of the top ten festivals held in Gyeonggi-do as well as a representative festival of Ansan-si, featuring various street performances. Invited performances from local and overseas, individual performers and other performances are prepared as well as other special programs.
