Chungcheongnam-do(Boryeong-si)

The Cheonbuk Oyster Festival is an event prepared by the Boryeong Cheonbuk Oyster Festival Committee. This event promotes the diverse dishes and nutritious tastes of Cheonbuk Oysters to tourists and is a good opportunity to visit the Boryeong region . A variety of events have been prepared for the oyster festival, with, of course, the best-grilled Cheonbuk Oyster delicacies of the west coast and other delicious oyster dishes for tourists.  


Jeollanam-do(Mokpo-si)

Mokpo Port Festival will be held in Mokpohang Port and Samhakdo Island areas to offer various performance and hands-on program. This festival was chosen as one of Up-and-Coming Festivals by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for consecutive four years and tries to show features of ocean city and local characteristics for visitors to enjoy its romantic ambience.


Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , Paju(Heyri Art valley)

Healing Music Festival first began in 2008 with a theme of abundant and relaxing music meeting nature. This year, the festival will be held in Imjingak Pyeonghwa-Nuri Park. Around 20 domestic and overseas musicians who are noted for their healing music are invited. Along with the healing music stage, a “Healing Playground” featuring treatment of mind and body through artistic programs will be offered. Participants can heal their mind and body at this music festival.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Jecheon-si)

As the first festival in Korea to celebrate films with the theme of music, Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) aims to expand the new film genre and contribute to diversification of film festivals. The main program shows music-themed films and documentaries from around the world, while the music program stages multiple concerts featuring various popular and alternative musicians. In addition, up to 30 aspiring film music directors are accepted into the Jecheon International Music & Film Academy for a chance to learn film music composition and production from expert film music directors. Moreover, a wide array of local dining, sightseeing and accommodation are available nearby for an enhanced JIMFF experience.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Yeongdong-gun)

Yeongdong, the hometown of Joseon Dynasty’s traditional music virtuoso, Park Yeon, is regarded as the Mecca of Korean traditional music. Every year, the Korean traditional music festival named after Park’s pen name, Nangye, is held in the area. In addition to featuring various exhibitions and experience programs centered on Korean traditional music, the Yeongdong Nangye Traditional Music Festival offers cultural arts and foods in conjunction with the Yeongdong Wine Festival. Visitors can enjoy various program including royal ancestral rites, parade, contest for reciting a sijo, and other hands-on program through traditional music.


Gyeonggi-do(Pocheon-si) , Pocheon

Pocheon Baegun Valley Dongjanggun Festival is full of hands-on events for family visitors. It is held at a convenient location as it is only about 1 hour away from Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi-do. Nearby attractions include Ildong Oncheon (Korean hot spring) District, Sanjeong Lake and the Pocheon Art Vallery, which makes it a perfect winter destination this festival.※ Due to the abnormally warm temperature seen during the festival period, the event or some program may not be available and are subject to cancelation depending on the circumstance. Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

The National Folk Museum is celebrating the first full moon of the Lunar new year, Jeongwol Daeboreum, through a 3-day event. A variety of experiences are prepared to eliminate bad luck and pray for prosperity and health. The event provides a chance for locals and tourists alike to learn more about the traditional culture of Korea.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Cheongdo-gun)

* The festival is postponed until further notice. The Cheongdo Bullfighting Festival celebrates the long tradition of bullfighting in the Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. Drawing over half a million visitors annually since its inception in 1999, the festival is the largest bullfighting championship in the country. In addition to the bullfighting championship, the festival offers a number of exciting events including performances, hands-on experience programs, and exhibitions of the history of bullfighting, local agriculture, cows, etc.


Gyeonggi-do(Icheon-si) , Icheon

Icheon has been a valuable city for ceramic arts since originating in the Bronze Age. It was designated as a “City of Crafts and Folk Art" on the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2010. Here visitors can see a variety of Korea's finest ceramics such as Cheongja (celadon porcelain), Baekja (white porcelain), and Buncheongsagi (grayish-blue powdered celadon). The festival is Korea's largest ceramic culture festival.


Seoul(Gangnam-gu) , Gangnam・Samseongdong(COEX)
