Seoul(Jung-gu) , Euljiro・Chungmuro・Namsan

Namsangol Hanok Village, located in Jung-gu, Seoul, holds the Five Nobleman’s Seollal Feast to greet the New Year. Various events to enjoy the New Year have been prepared.


Gyeonggi-do(Gapyeong-gun) , Namyangju

The Jarasum Fireworks Festival will be held in August on Jaraseom Island. In the day time, various activities such as themed zones for camping, beer and barbeque, and tanning are available, and at night fireworks shows and performances will entertain guests through the hot summer night.


Gangwon-do(Pyeongchang-gun)

The Pyeongchang Trout Festival takes place during winter in the town of Jinbu-myeon in Pyeongchang-gun district. Visitors to the festival can enjoy a variety of programs including ice and lure fishing for trout, snow programs, ice programs, folk programs, and more. There will also be traditional folk games including sledding and top spinning, and visitors can try out sports such as riding 4-wheel ATVs, snow rafting, sleigh trains. Any trout caught from ice fishing and lure fishing can be prepared right away at a nearby restaurant.Trout farming first started in Pyeongchang due to its cold, clear waters. Trout offer plenty of nutrition, and their natural taste makes them delicious when eaten raw.


Seoul(Seongdong-gu)

Eungbongsan Mountain is famed for its forsythia flowers. Each year, it hosts the Eungbongsan Mountain Forsythia Festival, organized by Seongdong-gu and Seongdong Cultural Center. The festival venue is Palgakjeong (Octagonal Pavillion) on the mountain.


Busan(Nam-gu)

Busan International Magic Festival is the largest magic festival in Asia. Taking place on the famous Haeundae Beach and at Busan Citizen's Hall, this year's festival is expected to introduce 100 magicians from different countries to perform in various magic shows. The Jeonju International Film Festival, an exciting combination of fun and film, is a fantastic 9-day spring outing filled with a wide range of events and movies. The celebration is held in ‘Movie Street’ (Gosa-dong, Jeonju-si), a street packed with movie theaters. Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , Paju(Heyri Art valley)

Offering stunning scenes all year-round, Byeokchoji Botanical Garden holds the lighting festival every winter. Located in Gwangtan-myeon, Paju-si, visitors to Byeokchoji Botanical Garden can enjoy the beauty of Korea through-out the year in this ‘Natural work of art’. Covering an area of about 132,230㎡, the garden is home to 1,400 species of plants. The various theme divisions and garden layout gives off a European vibe. The lighting event, which begins from sunset, will be available till 22:00 every night.


Gyeonggi-do(Bucheon-si) , Bucheon

The Bucheon International Comic Festival became the top Asian comic festival, presenting world comic trends and presenting a vision for Korean comics. Various programs, such as exhibits, an international comic fair, conferences, a world children’s cartoonist competition, and other various hands-on programs are available for all visitors. This festival was praised as a successful festival that developed the foundation of the comic industry and extended opportunities for sharing culture and arts, as well as improving the regional industry and making its mark as an international comic city.
