Hwanghakjeong Pavilion was built in 1898 by decree of King Gojong’s. It was originally set up close to the northern wall of Hoesangjeon in Gyeonghuigung Palace for archery practice. In 1922 when the Japanese colonial government sold buildings of Gyeonghuigung Palace to the public to build Gyeongseong Middle School in the location, the Hwanghakjeong Pavilion was bought and restored at the current location, which is an old site of Deunggwajeong Pavilion located to the North of Sajik Park. It is relatively large for a pavilion, but the structure is plain and simple. There is a well behind the pavilion to the southwest. A rock behind the well has an engraved poem about eight beautiful scenes of Hwanghakjeong. Located to the right of the pavilion building (northeast of the building) is Hancheongak Pavilion, which has unique roof. To the west of the pavilion is Sauhoegwan Hall that was built with reinforced concrete.

The Ondal Open Film Set has been the scene of many popular Korean dramas, including Cheonchutaehu (천추태후), Taewangsasingi (태왕사신기), Kingdom of the Wind (바람의나라), Iljimae (일지매), and Yeongaesomun (연개소문). The set is located within the Ondal tourist site in Yeongchun-myeon, Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. In addition to the famous sets themselves, clothes and props used during filming are on exhibit, and models of the drama’s protagonists are available for photos. Visitors are also pleased to experience the many other attractions in the area, including Ondal Cave, a theme park, Ondalsanseong Fortress, Ondalgwan museum, and well-known regional cuisine.

Situated in Myeongryun-dong (Seoul) and established in 1984, Waryong Park is located near Malbawi, one of the best overlooks from which to see the city of Seoul. The park is close to natural attractions such as Samcheong Park, Changgyeong Park, and Bukaksan (Mt. Bukak).Although it was difficult to grow trees in the park (and other parts of the country) because of the shallowness of the soil, many citizens participated in the nationwide campaign to plant over 10 million trees across the country, transforming places like Waryong into lush areas filled with flowering plants.In the park, spring blooms forth in a colorful assortment of cherry trees, ume flowers, azaleas, and forsythias, making it a popular destination for family visitors. There are also a variety of excellent amenities: badminton courts, aerobic fields, fitness facilities, and pavilions, wonderful for exercise, leisurely walks, or simply taking a break.A famous hiking trail, running between the Seoul Fortress Wall and Samcheong Park, passes right through the park. Flanked by cherry blossoms, the trail attracts droves of nature lovers throughout the year and especially in spring, when the trees are in full bloom. The trail also passes by the Fortress Wall in Bukaksan. 

Cheongju International Airport is an internationally operating airport located in the central territory of South Korea. Given its distance from the rest of Korea's international airports - Gimpo Airport (165 km), Incheon Airport (250 km), Gunsan Airport (120 km) - it is the main airport for the central region of South Korea. It’s location along the Seoul-Busan and Honam Railroad and Bus Lines as well as the main expressway makes it extremely easy to access. Seoul Science Park opened in July 2004 to function as a science education and training facility for students and teachers, as well as a cultural place for Seoul citizens. Admission to the park is free for all.

The Museum of Traditional Music (Gugak) features the Korean first gugak museum, holding about 6,000 pieces of gugak-related materials and relics which have both historical and cultural values. It is comprised of seven themed permanent exhibition halls that present 250 pieces of audio and video clips regarding gugak. In the 3D room, visitors can enjoy 3D animation at all times. Also, various interesting, special and planned exhibitions are held.

Seokbinggo means a freezer made of rocks. It is an ancient refrigerator only in Korea. It is located in Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Era (BC57-AD935). The appearance of this wonderful vestige is humble and simple. But you will not be disappointed at the entrance of the freezer. You can feel the cold from inside the structure. Half of Seokbinggo is underground while the other half is above ground, signifying the scientific propensity of Korea. The floor, walls, and ceiling are made of granite and have an airway. The walls are covered with limestone to keep off moisture and water. The floor is slanted to allow melted ice to funnel out. Frozen ice was popular for the upper class. From historical annals, it is assumed that Seokbinggo was made at least 1,500 years ago. Seokbbingo has been designated as National Treasure No. 66.

Hanbat Museum of Education (est. July 10, 1992) is home to 7 exhibition halls, 3 smaller exhibition areas, and outdoor exhibit areas displaying a total of 27,000 pieces of education-related items such as old school textbooks, educational books, student files, stationery, and more. The museum is particularly popular as a fieldtrip destination for area students.Exhibition chambers at the museum house documents and items that bear witness to the history of education from the olden days (i.e. village Confucian schools) to the present. Also on display are folk materials on the ancient educational institutions of the past and the daily lives of students. Thanks to the extent and variety of its documents, the museum is a great educational institution that not only preserves the history of education in Korea, but also sheds light on hundreds of years of life, tradition, and culture.The museum building, built on June 8th, 1938, is the oldest one in the city. Used as a school and later a military base for the U.N. Peace Corps and North Korean soldiers during the Korean War, the building has never been renovated and still bears the bullet holes and other marks of its tumultuous history. In recognition of its historical importance as a local structure, the museum was designated Cultural Property Material No. 50.

Daejeon-si Seo-gu Jangan-dong is located at the base of Jangtaesan Mountain Natural Recreation Forest and consists of a dense forest of ginkgo trees. Johyun Gallery started as "Gallery World" in 1990 at Gwangan-ri Art Town in Busan by Jo Hyun. After that, the gallery moved in front of Haeundae Paradise Hotel in 1999 and then it was rebuilt on Dalmaji-gil Hill near Haeundae Beach in June 2007. The gallery operates exhibition halls throughout the first and second floor of the building, as well as an art shop at Busan Museum of Art on the first floor. There is also another location in Apgujeong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This gallery focuses on the global art world by working with the international artists.
